I'm not in love with this product. While it's nice for sensitive skin, this has a bad white cast to it. It's very thick and hard to blend. However, I didn't find it tacky, and it didn't seem to bother my foundation application. The white cast, though, made me not want to repurchase this.

So I have been on an endless search for a sunscreen that will work on my very oily skin (e.g.,want a matte finish, not a shiny or dewy finish) , blend in with the tan color of my South Asian skin (without leaving a white/gray cast), and is a physical sunblock (that is also approved by the Environmental Working Group). I have found my holy grail!!! I happened to stumble upon this at Whole foods …Read more

I like to use "safe" products on the EWG website and this is one of them. My favorite safe sunscreen is Elta MD UV Clear, but it's 32 dollars for 1.7 ounces which lasts me six weeks. This sunscreen doesn't feel as great or perform as well, but it's still a great, less expensive option. It feels good going on, not greasy at all. Maybe a little thick at first, but once …Read more

It has certainly been more emollient and matte and not sticky at all than my Yes to Grapefruit sunscreen (I guess Yes to Grapefruit is not that good during the Summer) . I have not experienced any peeling or flaking like other users have mentioned but then again I did moisturize beforehand with seabuckthorn and grape seed oil. My Pacifica or my Physician's Formula BB or CC cream glides on …Read more

I wear this sunscreen daily after applying moisturizer. It does not give me an unnatural sheen and has more of a matte finish. It is very emollient, a little bit goes a long way and despite being a little more pricey then your typical Banana Boat, it lasts longer then I thought it would.

I am surprised to see so many people say this product caused them to break out. I have had no ill …

I rarely write reviews, but felt obligated to warn those who are acne prone - this gave me some of the worst breakouts I've ever had. Incredibly painful and stubborn cysts. It had great reviews for oily skin, so I stupidly went ahead and applied without reading the ingredients list. Coconut oil features highly and I think this is the culprit. Such a shame, because the protection and …Read more

Even though this product is only SPF 28 (I've always used SFP 45 and above), it gives me good protection, as I don't stay in the sun too long anyway. It does finish to a slight pale and drier cast (I'm pale so I don't mind) but it spreads just fine because I apply it when my face is still slightly damp. I love the packaging--light, thin, and easy to pack away. The best part is …Read more

I have been using MyChelle SunShield SPF 28 Unscented sunscreen for many years. It's one of the few skins care products I am completely happy with. I have extremely sensitive skin (bouts of eczema throughout the year), and at least for my skin, it does not aggravate it al all; rather, it soothes and protects. I use it all year round, and it does a good job of keeping the sunburn away when I …Read more

I think this is actually a pretty good sunscreen. My main complaint though is that it does not spread well. It seems to just want to stay in the same spot and I feel like it doesn't then cover my whole face. Other than this, it has a nice, light feel to it. I bought it a couple times, but then discovered Devita's sunscreen which I personally prefer.

This sunscreen is very tacky, meaning it does not want to spread on over my face. It was very difficult to make sure every area was covered. Although the protection is good, I do not really like the texture of it. There are other sunscreens (not moisturizers with sunscreens, just sunscreens) that work much better (La Roche Posay Anthelios SPF 60, for example). I would not repurchase.
