I have had my ups and downs with Differin gel, though it is mostly praise for it. I was first prescribed this when I was 12 (that cursed age when it all began!!) to clear a mild outbreak of pimples on my forehead. I remember it completely cleared my acne, in a few months time. After that I stopped using it, since my acne was very mild until I turned 18. I had the worst outbreak in my life …Read more

I got this product after I consulted with my dermatologist.

Wasnt satisfied at all. It takes time for this product to start woorking, I didnt notice that and I continued to use it for three months. In that period I notice that my skin is getting thiner and much more sensitive. If I wanted to pick a pimple, I pressed as gentle as possible but never the less, I would rip a skin on that …

I have battled acne ever since I was 13 or 14 yrs old. BCP and Differin keep the situation ok.

I just find it difficult to commit to using Differin as adviced: wash your face in the evening, then wait 20 mins untril your skin is totally dry. I´d love to apply it straight after washing my face, but it might cause irritation. Sigh.

During the first few weeks of using this it …

I have got this on prescription from my derm 3 months ago and till now it did nothing good for my acne.

I put it on my chin and neck at night, my acne is the worst on that area. After a few weeks I had the feeling it worked, my pimples became smaller and disappeared quicker, but after that it became worse again. Now I have 3 big cysts, that don't respond to the …

I was prescribed Differin in high school for moderade facial acne. It did nothing but make my face peel and burn. Ten years later I was prescribed Differin again for a weird outbreak of chest/back acne. I'm happy to say that, despite being extremely skeptical, it's worked wonders this time around! While my acne has not cleared up completely, I can now wear tanks and bikinis without …Read more

This has become a HG product for me! I cannot live without Differin gel. It costs around $30 with insurance, but can be found significantly cheaper online. My skin is hyper sensitive and acne-prone and I cannot use any medicated products. I've been using the .1% gel for over year with excellent results. At 27, I started getting a lot of comedones that kept getting worse and worse and …Read more

The .1 differin gel was a miracle for me, but once I stopped using it I broke out immediately. Nothing severe but enough to rush back to the derm. This time he gave me the .3 and let me tell you....A NIGHTMARE! What a waste of a $50 copay. Good news is my insurance will pay me back. I will try differin again but this time I will have them call me in the .1 gel again. It can really save your …Read more

Differin was like a nightmare for me.
I got a perscription for this and Clindamycin Phosphate topical gel and differin. The CP gel was for morning and Differin at night. I got the CP gel first because they didn't have Differin stocked yet, and for about a week my face was like butter smooth. Then I got differin. It worked well for about a day or two, but then I noticed rough sun …

Hi, I started getting acne in my early teens, when I broke out badly my junior year my parents (finally) decided that I should go to a dermatologist. I was prescribed this and duac. My acne massively improved, though I still broke out some during periods. Now that I'm in my 20s, the use of of duac and differin became too drying to use twice daily for my skin. My dermatologist now has me …Read more
