Found one of these a little while ago & am delighted with it! I had been keeping an eye out for a small brush set to put in my handbag - this little Pout pouch is perfectly streamlined, with all the requisites to give eyes/lips/blush a touch-up on the go. The brush heads are shapely and soft - a big bonus for me is that the they seem to be a bit more generously sized than in other mini brush sets i've tried (eg Laura Mercier). After a long search i think i've finally found a something that will be a staple in my arsenal from now on, if i can get a second set i'll definitely snap it up as backup.

Bought this wallet as i was looking for all the brushes in the included but didnt want to pay the hefty price. i've had it for nearly 2 years and after washing it LOADS, it still remains in perfect condition with no shedding. the eyeshadow brush picks up ALOT of colour so its worth it. inexpensive (£35). love the set so much PINK HANDLES!) i went back and bought the full sized socket, airbrush. large eyeshadow and smudge brush. v. good quality!

Presented in a luxurious blueberry wallet, the Pout Mini Make Up Brush Set contains a mirror and full sized brushes with extra short handles. The set contains: Blusher Brush, Small Eyeshadow Brush, Blender Brush, Fine Line Brush & Retractable Lip Brush.I wanted a mini makeup brush set good for travelling. this set contains all the essentials & although its mini, according to the sa the brush heads are all full size, so its just shorter handles and the retractable lip brush is the regular lip brush (retails for GBP 10) - which makes this set worth while. brushes are all very soft. been using for a couple of months and there isnt any shedding and when i wash the brushes, there is no dye comming out of the brushes. love the pink handles and the labelling of each brush telling you what its meant for. Pouch is super duper cute! Maroon wallet with slots for the individual brush & an included mirror with a deep red velvet ribbon to tie the wallet shut! continued >>

I had been hankering for body & soul's travel brush set for a long time but at 85 bucks, couldn't justify it. When I saw this Pout set for 40 I knew I had to have it. Things I love - beautiful purple leather case, purple velvet ribbon, the pink handles of the brushes. The brushes feel great, soft, lush. I'd have preferred the blush brush to be a bit bigger in its sweep, but it probably wouldn't have fit in the kit if it were. Also, have had a little bit of shedding but not much. The lip brush is very cleverly designed so that when you put it inside its cap, the brush pops out. The whole kit is very well designed and gorgeous for the price. I used it on a recent trip and was very happy with the eyeshadow brushes esp. Also, the eyeliner brush is good and I'm picky about those. Great kit, would be a lovely present.

Bought this set as my 1st set of makeup brushes and i was looking for something small as well. The brushes are soft and firm, with my favourite being the blusher brush. The eyeliner and lip brushes are pretty much useless to me and it would have been much better should other brushes been included in this mini set instead. So far very slight shedding after usage. Have not washed them yet so i wouldnt know about the condition then. will update again.overall a nice set to have in a handy and lovely plum coloured case..this comes with a mirror as well and a ribbon to keep the case closed. will repurchase if i cant find a better alternative.

I have noticed this mini brush set for several months...... finally, I bought it when Sephora has the FF event. I have to say, even for $40, this is a very good buy. I washed all the brushes (blush brush, small eyeshadow brush, eye blending brush, eye liner brush and lip brush ) the day I received them, and was satisfied by the performance of them. The bristles are all natural except the flat eye liner brush. Just a tiny bit of color fade of the blush brush when washed, but that's totally ok compared to other brand's brushes, even to those famouse brand name ones. I used all the brushes today. The blush brush-- very fluffy, soft like cloud, yet not too soft to pick up enough pigments, what an immediately love. The lip brush -- very soft but flexible, way too better than my old TBS lip brushes. The small eye shadow brush, an ordinary one, soft and flexible too. The eye blending brush, not too dense, very versatile. The last one-- flat eye liner brush, at first i think it was too stiff for the eye area, but I just figured out that with the "press & wiggle" action, it could get the job done, too. The brush case is pretty nice too, just the palm size. I personally think that this set is better than MAC's mini brush sets.

From Nordstrom's web site: "Presented in a luxurious blueberry wallet, the Pout Mini Makeup Brush Set contains a mirror and full-sized brushes with extra-short handles. The set contains Blusher Brush, Small Eyeshadow Brush, Blender Brush, Fine Line Brush and Retractable Lip Brush." Technically, I think my rating should be a 3.5, but I rounded up. I had been wanting to purchase a brush set for some time now as my old brushes are about 4-5 years old now and starting to shed and are not as soft as they used to be. I did not, however, want to spend a lot of money and just needed some basic, but high-quality, brushes. The Pout set seemed a good option for me. I have never tried anything from this line before, but so far I pleased with this brush set. It is very cute, and compared to other brush sets from high-end lines, a good deal at $40. The blueberry wallet is gorgeous, as is the ribbon, but I am finding it impractical and a pain to keep retying the ribbon, which comes undone fairly easily. I think a pretty clasp of some kind or magnet would have been a much better choice!! I might just transfer the brushes to my stila anniversary tweed case anyway though. The mirror is nice. The handles for the brushes are a cute light pink color and are clearly labeled. The handles are short, but I like them since the set is so compact and I still think that the brushes are easy to handle and work with. Overall, the brushes are soft and have short, but densely-packed, hairs - they feel "firm" but very soft to me. The blush brush is nice and just goes slightly over the edges of a stila blush pan (if that helps anyone picture the size). It works very well picking up color and my blush came out very natural looking. The two eyeshadow brushes are nice, but since they are denser, the brushes pick up more color than I was used to at first. They are small though and work better for applying shadows to the browbone, crease, or lid, than for doing quick washes over the entire eye. The liner brush was not so successful for me. I tried it wet with powder eye shadow (ouch!), and dry with powder eye shadow (double ouch!). I do not recommend this for lining at all...However, it makes a great brush to fill in brows with!! So that is what I have been using it for. I haven't used the lip brush, as I don't use them, but it is retractable and the brush seems firm, but soft, like the others. I wish an all over eye brush had been included instead of the lip one. I have washed the brushes several times now and they seem to be holding up well - no shedding or roughness. I will update if anything changes, but I think this set is a great and affordable option for anyone wanting a nice travel set or compact set of basic high-quality brushes. Edit: I ended up returning the brush set. They were nice brushes, but I was only ever using two of them (the small shadow brush and the blush brush), so it didn't seem worth it to keep the set. And I really needed an all over wash shadow brush. A nice set, but ultimately not for me.
