I was soooo sad that this didn't work out for me. I went through a sample packet of it and was in love, so I ran out and bought the full size. A few days later, I was broken out like crazy. I waited a few days for my skin to clear up and then tried it again and ka-boom! Break out city. I did this quite a few times 'cause I just couldn't stand for it to be true, but I finally …Read more

Don't understand why this seems to have low rating. Is a pretty good cream for the price, good for day use and didn't break me out. Moisturises adequately. And I love that it doesnt appear to have any discernable fragrance = lesser chemicals.

Would be better if it came in a tube for sanitary reasons. I pack this in smaller jars and lug it around with my makeup bag.

It's so sad this cream didn't work for me because it:

-smells lovely (very fresh, minimal scent; no chemicles)
-feels rich and luxurious on my skin without feeling heavy
-recieved the EWG's safety approval
-Is a good price for a good cream

Unfortunately, it contains oil and made me break out. So I am again on the prowl for a new moisturizer …

LOVE IT; calms my skin, absorbs well, hydrates without being oily, and doesn't irritate; no fragrance, oils, parabens, ect...
Wear this before makeup, like that it doesn't contain spf as my foundation is spf 20...
I highly recommend this for sensitive, oily, rosacea/allergy skin types.

I liked this product and used 2 of them. Overall, its gentle and soothing. I think its too light for dry skin, but its okay for summer. I might buy it again if I can't find any better product, but I want to use alcohol-free moisture cream. (This cream is gentle, but contains alcohol which I don't like)

I use this as at night, not as a day moisturizer. It's very gentle, but I think it's a little bit heavy. I have what you would call a "normal" skin type, and this cream gives me a slightly oily sheen after I first apply it. That being said, I use it at night and when I wake up in the morning, my skin looks radiant, tight, and clean. It's smooth to the touch, and I …Read more

I bought this moisturizer online, and the first time I used it I noticed it had a very off putting smell. Concerned, I went along to my local Body Shop to see whether my cream from the website was a one off. However, all of the creams on display smelled bad like mine. It smells kind of off, sort of like gone off milk. not very nice to put on your face

In terms of performance, the cream …

My jar is called "Aloe Soothing Day Cream" not "Aloe Vera Moisturizing Day Cream" as the header in this review lists. My jar is the same cream as pictured.
I am only able to use this product night since it contains no SPF, but I still applaud The Body Shop for offering a daytime moisturizer without sunscreen which can be an irritant. There is a daytime moisturizing …

This moisturizer is a little lighter than the night moisturizer, but still too heavy for oily skin.

I like the Aloe Vera line from the Body Shop, because the ingredientslist is very safe, but I miss a light moisturizer for oily skin.

And the creams are better off in a tube instead of a jar.

I love this moisturizer. My skin tends to dry out at night, so a thin layer of this makes all the difference in the world! IT is so gentle that i can apply it near my eyes. I have extreme combo skin/acne prone and this is the only cream i can use at night over my treatment that will not break me our, nor cause excess oil. Although it is expensive $16 a jar- it lasts for a very very long time. Its …Read more
