i really dont know what to think of this one. its a squishy gel with an orchid embedded in it, and the whole thing is encased in a thin layer of pink massage bar. its packaged in a clear plastic dome.
i liked the shape and the packaging, but the whole thing was kind of odd. it smelled nice, but it has that "lush" smell to it, you know what i mean? the massage bar layer was not too greasy, and i liked to concept overall.
the orchid had definately seen better days, it was all wet and smooshy, so i picked it out and threw it away. after the squishy layer dried (it had a nice texture) the residue was coming off my arms in little balls. not so yummy. i had to go rinse off, defeating the purpose. continued >>

This stuff makes for such a nice bathtime treat! It's a purple squidgy jelly with an orchid, in the shape of a dome (encased in plastic). At the bottom of the dome, a slab of cocoa butter (with other treats blended in) awaits.

Before your shower, take the purple squidgy stuff (not the orchid- that's for decoration!) and slather it all over your dry hair and body. I'd suggest doing this in the tub, unless you want chunks of purple goo all over the floor.

Shower, rinsing off the "goo"... the heat of the shower will make it smooth into your body, very silky!

When you're outta the shower, take the hard slab of cocoa butter and rub it all over! It seems hard, but is VERY emollient! I suggest breaking the slab in half. You don't need the whole thing, and you can save it for another day! It makes your skin soft and smooth, and locks in the moisture.

I give it 4 stars because I don't really love the smell. On the scent description it said that it would be citrus... however on the label it said rosemary and aloe vera. The strong rosemary smell reminded me of processed cheese, who knows why? But definitely bearable, and definitely not bad enough to stop me from purchasing this fun product- a steal at $3.95 CDN!

This is a uniquely packaged gelatenous moisturizer (the product is packaged in a plastic dome and sealed with a waxy pink layer). The description from LUSH Canada's website said this was "citrus" scented. It actually smells more reminiscent of a perfumey, fake floral urinal cake! And although it was pretty (they put a whole fresh orchid suspended in the gel), it wasn't functional. It moisturized well but was greasy (didn't absorb completely) and didn't smell appealing at all. And storing it was an issue - after breaking the wax seal, it wasn't resealable and only had a shelf life of 2 months. I'll never buy this again. YUCK!
