I color my hair. I like my hair shiny. This keeps the color, doesn't fade it. I use the conditioner that goes with it, too. It makes my hair soft and shiny, and I like the scent.

I did not like this product at ALL, it was so drying even before I washed it out and it made my hair fall out a lot, like a lot. I have thin hair and this made the roots of my hair thinner. I looked bald and I'm only 13. I do not recommend this product or pantene at all.

I used to like Pantene but not anymore. This is the only line that I actually like from them now.It does make my hair shinier and people notice when I switch to this line. I just am not too thrilled with the scent and condition of my hair after using these. I feel like Pantene has really dropped the ball lately.

This is a weird shampoo. I guess I'm used to more 'normal' shampoos that contain silicones, dyes, and parabens that make your hair feel smoother and richer so using Ice Shine was a completely different experience for me. I recently used up an entire 750mL bottle of this tonight which lasted me the bulk of this year, so a long time to be on just one shampoo. The reason I say that this was different was because of the texture it leaves your hair in. The shampoo works up in a nice lather that covers your entire head pretty quickly and also rinses off pretty quickly. After rinsing your entire head definitely feels as if it has been stripped of most oil and dirt and of course without silicone feels way more weightless and light. The catch, however, is that it also feels dry, dry, dry. As in you can't really run your hands through it without worrying some hair will snap off or something - it feels pretty brittle. But it also feels CLEAN. I usually condition straight away (I'm using Pantene's Deep Fortifying Conditioner), leave in for a few minutes and then rinse out, and then my hair feels healthy, weightless, smooth, shiny, and definitely soft. Not pillow-soft but my-hair-is-pretty-clean-and-shiny-soft. I've been using this for the bulk of this year like I said and I have noticed that my hair has improved in health and weight since using it - it's lighter, stronger and more easily manageable. The texture of the ends of my hair could be improved however as it does feel a bit brittle at times and I have noticed split ends developing every few months. This shampoo isn't the most user-friendly in terms of experience but I've been using it so long I really like it, and I guess I don't remember a different long-term shampoo to compare it to. My cousin uses this too and her hair is unbelievably healthy (but it always has been, sigh..). I'd say give it a go and it's good to know I can always go back to this again if I want a good clarifying shampoo without all the excess stuff in it.

I wanna start off by saying this was a really good shampoo and conditioner it made my hair shinier like it said on the bottle and softer and even detangled. I was pretty happy with the results at first but that was when i was still straightening my hair. Now i recently stopped using my straightener bc im growing my hair even longer than it is now well i used the conditioner after i washed my hair with this stuff and i had a bad hair day my waves /curls never looked worse. Also it was kind of stripping but it cleaned well and my hair was hard to brush at times especially towards the top i didn't mind the stripping part bc i only wash my hair when i need to. It does make a good clarifying shampoo and the conditioner is okay but i wouldn't recommend it if your wearing your hair natural. I would recommend something moisturizing this definitely isnt for dry hair but could be good for when you straighten or curl your hair bc it does clean well and add shine to hair but overall i really dont recommend it.

This shampoo hasn't let me down. I see there are a lot of negative reviews and I can understand why, but for my purposes, I like it and this is why:This is NOT my daily or every other day (or how often you lather up) shampoo. I use this strictly as a clarifying shampoo, which it does a great job at. I think it really strips all the product build up and oil and grime off of your hair and preps it perfectly for a deep condition. I have naturally stick straight hair that is fine, but I have a lot of it, so to get much of any volume and body in my hair, I use quite a bit of styling product in my hair. I find that about after 1-2 weeks of normal washing and styling that my hair is dull looking with a bed head sort of texture and that's when I use this product. The shampoo really strips everything away and you have, literally, squeaky clean hair. I recommend not messing with your hair too much at this point- I mean don't try to wide tooth comb it or even rake your hands through your hair, because you'll probably cause some breakage. Follow up with a good deep conditioner. I sloppily apply some and leave it for a minute before working it all the way through my hair so that the hair isn't so grippy and likely to break. Then I leave the conditioner on as long as possible. After rinsing the deep conditioner, my hair is soft and silky and has a lot of shine. I'm not 100% that I actually would repurchase this. Not because I don't like it, but because it is a huge bottle for something I use 2-3 times a month. By the time I use it up, I think I will be curious to try something new and in general just have something different to look at in the shower. I would definitely recommend this though and why not? It's so easy on the wallet.

I don't ask much from a shampoo; if it gets my hair clean, doesn't weigh it down, doesn't dry it out and doesn't make it get greasy then I'm usually pretty happy. Unfortunately, asking those for those few things in one product seems to be a tall order. I've tried heaven-knows-how-many shampoos over the years and only one or two that I've bought more than once. Anything I've ever bought for shine had silicones in it, the death knell for volume, if you have an oily scalp like me. I bought the huge bottle of Pantene Ice Shine without high hopes just because it was on sale and I had a coupon. Well, I'm down to the last of it, and I will be buying it again. Not only does it fill my four criteria, by being both non-drying and non-greasy, it does actually leave a shine behind. I think your results will vary depending on your hair color and hair type. I have several things going for me in the shine department: my hair is brown, my hair is straight, my scalp gets greasy, and my hair isn't chemically treated. My hair retains its shine pretty well, all in all. However, I do notice that this shampoo really kicks it up a notch. It goes from average-shiny to healthy-glossy-shiny. Without silicones! Now that said, I don't think this would be moisturizing enough for dry or curly hair. You'll just need heavier-duty products with silicones and oils. (I use argan oil on the ends in the winter, when even MY hair gets a little dry.) But if you have oily hair that you're afraid to put shine product on, then this is for you. Dry hair people, look elsewhere.

Gonna go against the grain here; I love this shampoo/conditioner combo!I have long hair that doesn't like being slept on (gets greasy and unmanageable) so I wash daily. I have quite fine, natural coloured, long hair, so weight is something I like to avoid. This shampoo foams up great, cleans well, smells lovely. And the conditioner conditions! This isn't a great product for dry hair; it's moisturising qualities are minimal. That's why - in the end - I moved on to Dove Intensive Repair. So now I use this as a clarifying system (remember ladies if you continually gum up your hair shaft with products, nothing's going to penetrate the shaft - clarify at least once a month)And as for the name, yeah, the results were high shine and weightlessness :) Not bad on a budget!

I have honestly been using this shampoo since I was 7 years old. It gives my hair shine without weighing it down and leaves my hair non greasy! I use this shampoo every second or third day because it's kind of stripping, but that's okay because I love it!
