I had high hopes for this powder (it's the new version in a square glass container) but it is not very flattering on my skin. It looks rather chalky and glittery and makes my skin look kind of lifeless. Definitely not the look I'm after.

This is finely milled and has a nice texture overall, but even with a very light application, it looks terrible on my skin as the day goes on. It's glittery, chalky, settles into every line and pore, makes my oily/dehydrated skin look older. The packaging is terrible too. It's bulky and the holes are huge, so tons of powder comes out.

I had high expectations for this powder. It is okay. My combination skin probably needs something more matte.
A word of warning; if you are thinking about purchasing this and not sure if it will work for you, be careful about ordering from Barney's. They do not take returns on cosmetics that have been opened/used.

Packaging: bulky and not as fancy or pretty as I'd expect for the brand and price. I prefer the sleek packaging of Laura MErcier's loose powder.

Product: This stuff looks so cakey and actually sinks into pores. I have tried numerous powders over the years and I never really had a problem with any of them. I do find the higher end powders are usually more finely milled …

About to return this. While yes the price point for the brand isn't terrible and the texture of the powder is nice. I put this on and while in the sun looked like I stuck my face in a pile of giltter. I also asked my two friends who I was with what they thought and they asked if I put glitter all over. Total disco ball in the sun. Returning.

I've tried MUFE, Nars, Bare minerals, and Asian brands in the past prior to this one. but it looks like I'm going to be stuck with this for at least 2 years.
he packaging is ginormous and bulky. Its not travel friendly at all.

mine is 05 Translucent and is translucent when its on the skin.
powders are very very fine, but so if MUFE and nars.
I use La …

This is basically fairy dust in a luxurious glass tub. I love trying loose powders because I find that good ones truly do soften the look of foundation by adding a silken veil across the face, smoothing out the pores and overall prolonging the wear of the makeup. This is a beautiful loose powder that does all of that, and best of all, doesn't cake up or look the least bit powdery on the …Read more

Got a sample size of 02 (Neutral). This is fine with my Sephora Pantone 2Y07 winter color. This is a very nice light powder, both in texture and color. The lightish color is closer to what other brands would call Translucent. The main advantage is that this powder is life-like (due to almost invisible, subtle shimmer particles- not visible to the naked eye, but if you look carefully in a …Read more

This powder is amazing however the translucent shade is too shimmery for my liking.. Will purchase shade 3 in future which i believe is yellow toned with no shimmer! If this had no shimmer it would easily be a Holy Grail powder!
