This balm is the bee's knees! I completely forgot about it, to be honest. I got this in my Birchbox quite a while ago, and I left it in my old jacket. What a nice surprise! The color I have is "Rhubarb", a neutral, and natural-looking pink color with no shimmer. Firstly, I LOVE that it's not shimmery. So many potentially HG balms are ruined by too much shimmer/glitter …Read more

I have these in both Holly Berry and Fig. I have W5 skin and slightly pigmented lips. On me, Holly Berry is a nice, natural MLBB everyday kind of color, not too pink, not too brown, not too light, and non shimmery (which is REALLY hard to find for my tones). Fig is similar to Holly Berry but is more plum/brown, more of a fall color. Give the colors a minute or so to show up. Holly Berry will …Read more

I got this in Mango and it is way too intense and shimmery for me. We're talking intense copper colour here. I was expecting more a balm with a hint of colour.
The price is good and I like the packaging, with clean ingredients as always from Alima. I would try other colour but they all look quite shimmery and saturated.

This is sweet, soothing and cooling lip balm with sheer color in a slender swivel tube. I like the slim tubes because I tend to just swipe it on and the larger tubes leave balm in places I don't want it. No, I'm not especially graceful. I have a light to medium complexion, and tried Rhubarb, which is a neutral, non-shimmery pink. It pays off like YLBB, but the mint in it is very …Read more

I got this in Holly Berry. When I took the cap off for the first time I was surprised at how brown it looked. I thought to myself, "where is the berry?" However on closer inspection, I can see that it is a berry shade, just not a plummy-pink berry like I was expecting. It applies very smoothly and leaves a really pretty, subtle colour on the lips. If I could name this shade, I'd …Read more

I have this in Pomegranite and at first when It arrived I was disappointed in how light it was, but upon trying it I now love it. It is my go to first layer lip treatment. I usually add some layer of more color on top either lipstick or gloss because on me it is basically the same color as my lips. Sometimes I just wear it alone because it even out my lipcolor and it is nicely hydrating and …Read more

This is a decent lipbalm. I think it moisturizes well, but it tends to dry the lips when it's cold outside (only when you do go outside, obviously). I got one in Acai and I love the color. It's a subtle shimmery pink. I definitely like this better than a lipgloss because it's not sticky at all and it has good staying power. My only complaint about it is that it doesn't smell …Read more

I'm knocking off the star for "nourishing". I still have to reach for my beloved Chapstick. HOWEVER, I'm loving the Fig!! This pinky, bronzy color (think of a darker rose gold) looks fantastic on my average pigmented lips. It provides enough color that I can wear it with just about every outfit and every color. I'm finding myself reaching for Fig more than any other …Read more

I love that the ingredients are all natural. However, they don't moisturize my lips very well, same as Dr. Bronner's lip balm. I should have listened more to the previous reviews, I have very little pigment on my lips, but Rhubarb and Mango did not show up on me AT ALL. Cranberry had much more pigment, but was very brown, I would have loved it in the early 90's. Will try the fig if …Read more

I have this in pomegranate which is a reddish-brown shade and I love it. It's like a lipbalm, lipstick and lipgloss all in one. It is very moisturizing but it also gives my lips colour and shine. It's inexpensive and the ingredients are amazing. All of the shades seem very natural and flattering - I can't wait to try more. My only complaint is that the packaging is sort of ugly and …Read more
