This is the most expensive cleanser I've ever been purchase and I don't find it really so wonderful like reviews I read. Yes, this cleanser is gentle and have no foam, the plus point I like. But I don't think this cleanser really a life changing and the price too expensive for a cleanser. I don't think this product suitable for dry skin as I can feel this product can make your skin produce less oil, atleast that's what I feel when I use this cleanser religiously.

I've been using this soap for over three years. My skin may not be porcelain perfect, but this soap has helped keep my flareups under control, and has been the most successful at this task. I use some other products from the Mario Badescu line in addition to this (buffer lotion especially) for the little bumps which occasionally show up, usually near TOTM. No more big painful cysts for me!

I found this product did improve my overall complexion but ONLY when I used my manual face brush. When I was using it with my hands for a good week (in conjunction with the special cucumber lotion) I felt like little or nothing changed. It also doesn't foam. When I started the manual face brush and really scrubbed it into my pores, I noticed a difference in two days.

It's alarming to think about the number of cleansers I've tried. Neutrogena, Olay, Simple, Burt's Bees, Garnier, L'Oreal, Cetaphil, Aveeno, Ambi, La Roche Posay, Avene, Ren, Clarins, Jason, Clinique, Origins, Murad, Dermalogica, Aubrey Organics, Clean and Clear, Purpose, Boots, OCM, Boscia, Kiehl's, Lush, Philosophy, Bliss, Vichy, The Body Shop, Trader Joe's... I'll stop here before I start crying thinking about all the money I've wasted. (Thankfully, some of these were returned for refunds!) After a decade of searching for the perfect routine, my skin has taken a real liking to this cleanser. It thoroughly removes makeup when used with a damp cloth, and it doesn't leave my sensitive skin feeling dry or irritated. It doesn't contribute to clogged pores, which I am very prone to getting, and my face has been calming down and clearing up since using it (along with a healthy diet!). I prefer this to the Enzyme Cleanser and some of his creamier cleansers. Not too expensive either! Very pleased with this product.

I purchased this product due to all of the positive reviews and I was super optimistic when I received it in the mail. However, after three weeks of using it I noticed my break outs were abnormal. I usually have hormonal breakouts near ovulation and my cycle, but this product caused me to get patches of blemishes the entire three weeks. Just because something has positive reviews from hundreds of people does not mean it will work for your unique skin.

One of the worst cleansers i have ever tried! Made my complexion much worse. I have dry, acne prone skin. And after two days of using this product i broke out in red bumps all over my cheeks. I usually get a few bumps that time of the month along my jaw line but nothing like what this product left me with. Thank goodness i got a sample and did not purchase this terrible product.

I've bought several bottles of this product. After taking off makeup I wash with this cleanser a few times, it soothes broken out skin and leaves you really feeling clean. All of Mario's products are gentle on the skin, and the acne line doesn't cause any flare ups! Only calming, which is very important to me when choosing an acne line.

This is an okay cleanser. It doesn't foam, so it's different than your usual cleanser. Based on a survey I filled out on Mario Badescu's website, they recommended I try this cleanser to clear my acne. After 2 months of use, I don't believe it really did anything for me. Overall, it wasn't horrible, but it didn't produce any results for me. It was gentle, so I appreciated that aspect of this product.
