I love red lipstick - the brighter, more vivid, candy apple, blue based red, the better.

This lipstick ain't bad, however i find that it's a little too "natural" - too neutral, too brown based russet coloured, not cooky enough for me. I like to look like Betty Page meet Audrey Hepburn, so this colour is just a little too classic for me.

But it seems that it would match a larger variety of skin/hair colours.

Unfortunately this product has been discontinued - the triple lipsticks - which is a shame. Great price, great application, great selection of colours, and an spf of 15 to boot. ONLY PROBLEM - the flimpsy plastic covers only stand up to one or two droppings before they break. But i cant complain - i purchased a lot of 123 lipsticks for 20.00 US on ebay - a nice array of shades, excellent condition, and a fantastic stocking stuffer option.

This is a nice, creamy true red. Not especially long-lasting, but beats the heck out of CG's Smoothwear formula.

This is a creamy true classic red lipstick. It's opaque and smooth. If it was matte it would be a Holy Grail for me.

"Right on Red" is a sheer, cool-toned red lipstick. It's sheer, yet noticeable. I have light, ivory skin, dark blonde hair, and blue eyes. The color is similar to one of my discountinued faves, Cranberry Pop (one that was made by Loreal). If you're looking for a wearable red, this is it! This color isn't so bright that you can't wear it during the day time, yet it isn't so sheer that it isn't noticeable at night... it's just perfect! It also has sunscreen. The only thing I don't like about this lipstick is that the lasting power doesn't seem to be too long, but I don't really care since it's relatively cheap. If you're looking for a red that is nice, but super cheap ($1), try the NYC brand lipstick in "Sheer Red"... Also not a bad color.

This is a great product. The texture is just like more expensive dept. store l/s - creamy & moist with good coverage. The name is deceptive, because it's actually a brick or muted red, very flattering and a good way to ease yourself into wearing red l/s.
