Love this. A brand we have never had in New Zealand but bought on a whim a few weeks back at a discount department store for $8 NZ which is a bargain. Gorgeous shades for my pale skintone. Replaces my old favourite Revlon Blushed shadow but gives a slight sheen which is better on me than a matte finish. Apparently discontinued for you guys in the USA but I would recommend stocking up on this. I use it each day now with a little Loreal bark shadow as a liner and some brown eyeliner pencil. Love it. Im only 22 too! Am going to stock up!

This IS too expensive for a DS line! Actually, I just packaged up four products I bought from this line and mailed them back to Revlon. This was included - it is NOT an eyeshadow for THIS older woman. Sat on top of my wrinkles and just called attention to them. Not impressed. We'll see what Revlon does, as I asked for a refund or for coupons for other stuff. If they don't meet my demands :) I'll boycott! That'll show 'em! :)

This line is very expensive for DS products. Bought the blush--eh, o.k., nothing special. I received the pink sands eye shadow samples--they are beyond sheer, almost invisible, yet they do brighten the eye area. Though everyone has referred to them as 'matte', they do have quite a bit of sheen. Overall, I do not think this line will be around for long...

Got a free sample from the website. Although I am in my mid-30's this line - aimed at the older crowd - still interested me. I like a no-sparkle, natural approach to make-up and these neutral shades can work for any age group. Decent eye shadows and nice easy-to-wear shades - not a HG but worth the free sample for sure!

The "Pink Sands" trio consists of a medium beige lid color, a darker brown crease color, and a pink highlight color in a round case. (I never use the highlighters.) Although the colors are definitely neutrals, they have a pink-plum undertone. The lid color blends seamlessly into my skin color, however, it has a subtle brightening effect. These shadows have the slightest sheen, but no shimmer. The colors blend together softly, so there are no garish contrasts, but can be built up to be more dramatic if desired. I definitely recommend consulting the Vital Radiance web site for recommendations on which of the four shadow compacts will compliment your eye color. There were two choices for my medium-brown eyes. The cooler toned "Pink Sands" harmonizes with my cool skin tone and medium brown eyes/dark brown hair. The texture is very soft and it's as long-wearing as any, considering I didn't even use their eye primer. I LOVE the colors and the finish!
