I seriously love this product. The color is perfect for my skin type and it super easy to apply. I am a little olive, but a lot lighter in the fall and winter so I then use the Face Brush in 'Pearl', so if you are more fair defiantly try it in 'Pearl.' I generally like to either dab some on the back of my hand and apply with either a brush, sponge or finger or I'll apply with the brush applicator and blend. Great for the bridge of the nose, cheekbones or mix it in with your foundation for an extra glow.

This brush is ehh. Mine is rough(not soft) and it sheads. I'll try washing it in baby shampoo, maybe that will help. But it is really good for buffing in color.

(+) veryyy soft(+) no shedding(?) gives off weird color when shampood(+) i love the smell of it when ive just washed it, dont ask me why! (+) i use this for blending blush, can also be used for applying loose powder(-) not good for mineral fndt though. i tried this with mac mineralize skinfinish, and no powder gets on your face. i tried the skinfinish with sb buffer brush #24 and had great results!

I've had this brush for about two weeks now and I love it! I have quite a few kabuki brushes (Tarte/BE/Mac/NARS and the highly rated Lumiere kabuki) and I have to say I like this the most. It's relatively cheap ($23 on sale) and it is very very very soft. In fact, after I washed the brush for the first time, I could no longer use it to buff MMU onto my skin because the bristles had became even softer than prior to washing. Right now, I'm using this brush for powder only. If you're thinking about using this for mineral foundation, it probably won't work for you. I am buying a second one as backup.

I ordered this from Smashbox's Curtain Call section on their web site. It was $22.50, marked down from $30. It came in the mail yesterday, and I was not disappointed! It came in the most adorable little pouch that will protect the brush nicely no matter where it is. I would love to have a matching train case! The brush itself looks very classy - nice dark bristles and a dark copper base. The bristles are so soft that I was afraid they wouldn't be firm enough to apply product, but that was a completely ungrounded fear. The brush was a pleasure to use - it fit well in my EDM full-size containers of concealer, foundation, and finishing powder; it felt wonderful against my skin; it applied the product evenly; and it didn't hang on to any excess product, from what I could tell. It didn't shed at all during its first use, and it doesn't look like it will shed any time soon.My only complaint is that the bristles can get a little scrunched when I put the brush in its pouch, so I have to be careful when I put it away and take it out. Other than that, I have no complaints. All in all, it's a pretty minor complaint, and I would recommend this wholeheartedly . Because of my good experience with this brush, I am going to try other Smashbox brushes in the future as well.

This brush is amazing! I purchased this at the same time as the Tarte kabuki brush, and this is by far 10X better. This did not shed, was softer than I could have ever imagined and the short handle helped ease application when using with bronzer and blush. I also purchased a second one to use strictly with mineral powder. I highly reccomend this brush, as it's cute little washable travelling case is great for your handbag.

This new bronzer brush from Smashbox is part of the new Ray of Light collection released early 2006. Its a limited edition kabuki brush that retails for $30. Smashbox.com says this is "for face powder, blush or bronzer and it comes with a stylish pouch that fits perfectly in your purse so you can take your touch up tools on the road. Made by hand using the finest natural goat hair, this professional brush has a unique tapered cut (specially cut by hand) for precise application, making making-up a piece of cake! No overloaded or streaky mess, only a natural gorgeously-even effect. The pouch is made from a machine washable, custom designed textile inspired by this seasonís runway trends."Its super soft and the striped tiny pouch is super cute. Great deal at $30. I didnt like it for the Dusk bronzer though since it deposits too much color. Like this brush much better for my Soft lights. Great new brush!
