Disco-ball/porn-star shimmer/glitter is what I call this! Even with my snow white complexion, it stuck out like a sore thumb and made me look (and feel) like a cheap, 2-cent hooker working the streets on a Saturday night! Not for this 35-year-old! I am gladly taking this back to Sephora and getting a refund.

So many things to complain about, so little time! I was looking for a frosty shadow to use as not only a highlighter, but also as a full on shadow to brighten up my face. This neon white shadow failed at both. It crumbles when you put your brush in it, it goes on thick, flakes everywhere, and to top it all off the package (which I had to pay extra for) is TERRIBLE...the lid just falls off. I spent $18.00 on this and tried to make it work every which way...I applied it with different tools, put it on lighter, tried it with UD primer, etc. I'm sour I wasted my money on this crap :(

I used to like this color a few years ago when it wasn't so generic, but could only wear it in small doses (inner corners of eyes) for a little glitz. It's way too overpowering (almost frosty white) to be worn as a brow highlight without looking like a sad Christina Aguilera wannabe reject. I think now there's a lot of cheaper and better looking alternatives to this kind of color.

I just was not happy with the overall product. It wasn't anything Wow, rather boring and typical. I could have gotten just as good an e/s from a DS for far less. I will not buy again. Shame Stila, you rarely do it but I'm dissapointed.

This is slightly too frosty to be used as a highlighter (NARS Albatross is far superior), but as an eyeshadow, it does a decent job. I like pairing it with matte shadows for a bit of sparkle.

Normally I'm not one to complain if an eyeshadow is really pigmented, but because Moonlight is a very shimmery white it does make it alot less versatile. It's far too pigmented to wear as a base colour - it still shows through strongly regardless of which colour I layer on top. Despite this, it's a great highlighter shade for a more dramatic eye, particularly good for highlighting the inner corners of my eyes.

Whooooo... baby. This eyeshadow has alot of pigment! I apply to my eyes in various ways but use my fingers to blend due to the extreme pigmentation of this gorgeous shade: (1) inner corner of eyes, (2) wash over another shawdow, (3) by itself as a light lid base.

Moonlight came in the 2004 Lip & Eye Set, along with Kitten, BC, and Jezebel. This is a very shimmery and pigmented white eyeshadow that I like to use as a highlighter (use a light touch!) or on the inner corners of my eyes to brighten. I probably won't repurchase, though, because it's too expensive for a standard shimmery white eyeshadow. I'm sure I can find a cheaper alternative. It's also too pigmented and stark white as a wash on my lids (I'm LLL-MMM, olive neutral, hazel eyes).

This was much too frosty and cool on me (NC30/MMM with brown eyes). Moonlight is a sheer pure white icy shimmer; the texture is smooth and lasting power is better than average.

Had hoped this was a shimmery white, but it turns out it just shimmer. Plain and boring, but I guess it's ok for highlighting.

EDIT; After months of disliking it I actually find myself reaching for it quite a lot. But my nr.1 highlighter is still a white e/s from Dior.
