I purchased this because the store was out of my usual favorite, the herbal. I adore the scent almost as much as the herbal. It's a lot more subtle which might be preferable to those who get easily overwhelmed by a fragrant product. I compare the fragrance to a meadow, clean and grassy with a touch of floral. I love this conditioner. I buy the Chamomile shampoo too. I happen to adore the scent it leaves, but I understand how some may not. I bought the one that says ' Nature's Gate Herbal daily conditioning ' ...from Whole Foods for $5 ... I purchase the Herbal conditioner, which does not say chamomile on it. The scent of this is an awful musky herbal, that is incredibly strong. I washed my hair twice with another shampoo/cond before the scent finally went away. I have never in my life used a product that smelled so awful. It's definitely "eau de old people." It's terrible.
The product does condition, but there's nothing remarkable about it. Didn't take the tangles out of my hair. I could not get past the over powering stink. I returned it because I don't want my hair to smell like an 85yr old woman.

I love this conditioner, I mix it with pantene beautiful lengths and the result is manageable and shiny hair, just what I was going for. And I love the smell, it reminds me of my grandma. By itself it still yields good results, but my hair is very long, and it needs to be easier to brush.

Hmm... I loved all Nature Gate's products before I tried this one. This one I am really not sure about. I was hoping it would work as a conditioner only wash, that the formula would be light enough and make my hair soft without significant build up.
