Alien edp review.
I was expecting a lot more from this fragrance.
I dislike it, I prefer Angel funny enough.

This is quite a strong scent. Not for the faint hearted. It has a 'dirtiness' scent to it. Perhaps sensual. Excellent lasting power (all day). Good sillage. I dont really like it and it could be offputting for many I think. It seems to be a love or hate thing!
It is meant to be a jasmine scent but jasmine seems to smell different in different perfumes. It doesnt smell like a natural jasmine at all. The scent is quite linear too.
It may be good for layering if youre in to layering perfumes.
The bottle is cool and unique.
I dont think products should be defined by age and more by taste/personality but I wouldnt give this to someone young as it seems more a grown up scent.

Have an EDT... (A tiny trial size spray bottle)
Was really hoping to enjoy Alian EDT, its a fresh, light, airy woody white floral but I have a very similar scent in the Avon Strictly Come collection. The Avon Strictly Come Dancing - Strictly Fabulous that I have, starts off a little differently only to settle within a few minutes into such a similar scent to Alian EDT that it makes me decide to not buy this scent. I was really hoping to get an Alian so will go try the original next time.

...So next time has arrived and now I have the EDP, bought a small bottle.
Alian Edp is long lasting, smells a little different to the Edt. It is a sharp laundry fresh fragrance which has a more floral scent than my other laundry fresh fragrance (Glow by Jo Lo), but no doubt I still wear my Glow by Jo Lo. I find laundry fresh scents easy to wear when there is no time to put thought into what fragrance to present to the world. Alian Edp smells like a mix of Strictly Come Dancing Strictly Fabulous and Glow, probably leaning more towards Strictly Come Dancing.
I don't think I will buy Alian again, not only because I can make this mix myself, but I totally don't like the bottle, its not easy to use as there is limited control over how much you spray, the bottle looks nice but does not operate with ease.

I tried my Edt tester again and have now decided that I prefer the Edt, its fresher and stronger than the Edp, and overall smells better but I still won't be buying this scent again, Edp or Edt.

i first got a copy of Thierry Muglers Angel and I was immediately in love with it. Soon after people kept recommending I tried Alien saying it was far better in comparison to Angel and that I would probably like it even more than I liked Angel to start with. I am not sure whether i prefer it to angel, i think it depends on what mood i am in at the time - but my fiance loves it, comparing angel to 'air freshener', in comparison. So I guess alien is the one i'll be wearing around him! lovely long lasting original floral scent.

my favorite so nice and refillable bottles make it worth it

This has been my holy grail perfume since high school. Its the longest lasting perfume I've ever owned. And I always get compliments on it.

Such a unique, long-lastingm complex and wonderful fragrance. This one is powerful so I go easy. It really smells fabulous sprayed on clothes and worn in temperatures under 60. It smells grapey and flowery. I hate vanilla fragrances and this one might have a little bit but it stays in the background. Alien is a great name because this fragrance is so deceptive and difficult to describe but I love it. Angel on the other hand is a nightmare and should be called Schizo

This is not a fragrance that I would normally gravitate to. I like fresh /clean / somewhat fruity scents. I was looking to get a new perfume and asked around to see what other people liked. The list went on and on. All the recommendations did smell nice but nothing I had to have. I read a ton of reviews on this one and the vast majority LOVED this one. Some of the other reviews I read said it was awful. I was kind of afraid to even sniff it. But it held my curiosity for quite some time. And how did I not even know this existed? It's been around since the 90's. I'm and 80's baby. Where have I been? It got the best of me so I did a blind buy online from eBay for fairly cheap just in case I didn't like it. At first I wasn't in love or hated it either. I wasn't sure just yet. The more I used it, the more I have fallen madly in love. It isn't like anything I've ever smelled before. I've read where some people say it's a winter / cold weather scent and I can see that. We don't have real cold winters here in the south so sometimes our winter and summer temperatures are close. It doesn't seem too heavy to wear without it being cold out. Now, that may not be the case for everyone since our chemistries are all different. Regardless, I have a feeling this will be a constant on my perfume shelf. I do like to switch from time to time but this has definitely managed to rank itself up top of the others.
