Though I absolutely love this colour, I utterly hate the formula.

Everytime I overdraw my lips, when I take it off, even almost just after applying it, all of the pores on the area where I've overdrawn have become clogged, which means I have to use an extractor or my hands to remove them, what is very painful.

This is a great long-wearing lip pencil that glides onto the lips very smoothly. The colour is a dark burgundy red with a hint of purple. It's perfect for creating vampy lips.

It's a great product, however the only reason why I wouldn't purchase this product again is, because MAC tests on animals (therefore it only gets 4 out of 5 stars).

If you are looking for a cruelty free alternative that is a dupe for this colour, then try out Kat Von D's lipstick in Damned or Exorcism.

This is a fascinating lip liner and I don't own anything quite like it. MAC liners in general are very pigmented, easy-to-use and creamy, so I tend to think of them more as lipsticks in pencil form. This one is a veeeeery dark wine (it can look like a dark blood red if you layer it heavily, but the berry shows up more if you blend it out). It's super useful for lining the lips, creating an ombre lip, or changing your lip shape. When used lightly at the corners and the crease of my lip, I can make my lips look pouty and more shape-ly than they really are. I really recommend this lip liner if you're into dark lips and/or like experimentation!

I love Nightmoth! I'm more of a MLBB girl than vampy but I had to try this. I've been going a little kray kray w the bright purples (re: UD Bittersweet...) so I needed a lipliner & whilst this isn't bright purple it makes an awesome ombré w those kinda colors (Maybelline Brazen Berry, NYX Berry Strudel & I have a true black wnw lipstick left over from Halloween). I don't own the kind of lipsticks that match this like Smoked Purple or Cyber, just a little too vampy on me--but my fave way to wear Nightmoth is to line my lips & fill them in w this then shellac a clear gloss over the top then blot. This is an awesome color. I'd call it eggplant blackish. It's so creamy! And MAC makes the best lip pencils in the whole wide world!! There is just something special about the way they look & feel. Very luxe. So glad I took a chance & got this! Today imma play around with wearing it w black eyeshadow talk about dramatic lol I won't be adding any colors like Smoked Purple nor Cyber to my collection this is good enough for me & like l said this is a big deviation coz I am a fan of pale baby pinks & MLBB nudes.

An absolute staple in my makeup collection, I'm a huge deep bold lip fan and I'd definitely say you need Nightmoth if you're like me. This lip pencil is universally flattering, and is a deep vampy almost black burgundy plum. The colour pay off is also decent. I love pairing this up with Wet N Wild Cherry Bomb, MAC Riri Boy, Sleek Dare and even MAC Flat out Fabulous lipstick - the possibilities are definitely endless, loveee.

I love this lip liner. The color is an amazing shade of deep wine-ish purple with red untertones.

Such a vampy color.

I love to pair it with MAC's Media and Rebel.

Definitely recommended.

I'm in love with this lipliner. I bought it originally to buy with my rebel lipstick to give it more of a purple look. but I follow a lot of make up artists on instagram and have seen them wear nightmoth with different lipsticks such as ruby woo and flat out fabulous. Now that I know I can wear it with just about anything makes me love it more!! I tried it on with an illamasqua lipstick called resist and it looked awesome! Definitely reccomend to anyone who is into the dark lips.

I LOVE Nightmoth SO much! Granted, this isn't a liner I use daily, and it's not for the faint of heart. But it's one that is so worth owning if you like to rock the occasional dark lip.

Nightmoth is a dark, vampy plum/purple. I'm a fan of most of MAC's lipliners in terms of quality, but this one seems to glide on exceptionally smooth ... smoother than the rest of my MAC liners. The texture is very buttery, and the color payoff/pigmentation is outstanding!! This liner works great with darker lipsticks, and can be applied very lightly and blended if you just want to darken a lighter shade.

All in all, one I am thrilled to have in my stash!! continued >>
