OK, this definitely not your typical Moisturizer. It comes in a Twist off Jar and has no Scent. The Texture is more like Vaseline so it is very Greasy. I usually start my Make-up Routine with a Moisturizer, then Primer, Then Foundation. This Product Coated a Layer on my Skin so I can Skip the Primer and actually use it as one but needed to tone down the Greasy Oiliness with Setting Powder, which …Read more

I had a hard time with the cream.

First, it did have a SPF smell to it. Not bad though. It is greasy and heavy. Very hard to rub into my skin. My skin did become red and irritated, Almost like a burn. I had to stop using it.

I did turn into a body cream so its not total waste. But would not use this again.

OMG, just had an expensive indeed, but amazing Blue Peel, skin looks amazing....Enter Clinique Superdefense dry to very dry SPF 20.
I am experiencing a freaking rash w/ teeny tiny pimples all over m forehead, down nose and 3 spots on cheek.
I guess it's tooooooo rich. A bit of burning and itching. :(
Yes, am freaking out as my face (after a 3 week session of peeling) looked …

Review is for its SPF20 version. Creams being in a jar is a dealbreaker for me but I still got this moisturizer's travel size out of curiosity.

Pros:

- SPF 20 is great for winter, fall, and early spring if you are like me and already don't go out much.

- While dry-combination did nothing to my oily T-zone, it did a better job at making my normal cheeks …

So cards on the table I have acne prone skin but still bought the kind for dry skin (types 1 and 2) because the products for oily/combination skin (type 3 and 4) never worked for me, and the result is that this stuff broke me out with a few bright red pimples and severe blackheads. I don't know if I should blame myself for that, or be able to expect this product not to break me out even …Read more

I think this is really an ok moisturizer with SPF, but it causes a bit of a burning, irritating sensation (especially if it gets close to your eye-area..). I do sometimes feel this with certain other SPF products, but far from most.
I dont't feel like it hydrates enough, but still tends to go a bit greasy sometimes.

My girlfriend uses this as well, and has the same …

Am a huge fan of this moisturizer. I too am on jar number two and will likely buy another one when this one runs out. Am not a fan of the packaging, but I find that it is the perfect moisturizer for daytime and I haven't had any breakouts since using it (has been 4 months, give or take). I think it will be too heavy come summer time, but this has been great during the cold, harsh Toronto …Read more

I really love Clinique Superdefense Moisturizer. I have been using this product for years for dry combination skin type. Its lightweight, silky on the skin, and creates a nice base to apply makeup on after. I really don't like any moisturizers that sit heavy on the skin and this one absorbs well and also has a decent level of SPF. However I do use Shiseido sunscreen in addition to this …Read more

To sum this up: It's the only moisturiser I've repurchased. It has a few flaws, but it's solved my biggest insecurities so it's the best.

Pros:
1. In all my eight years of trying various skin care products nothing has ever healed my scars more quicker!

2. From trying so many products my skin went from oily acne prone skin to dry flakey and uber …

It's the worst cream I've ever tried. Period. Supposed to be fragrance free but has a horrific smell. Must be the SPF, it contains oxybenzone too. It burnt my skin and eyes and after washing my face I could still feel it's disgusting taste in my mouth. It was greasy and sticky and didn't want to come off my face. I've been using Clinique's moisture surge intense skin …Read more
