**I wish I could review this well, as I LOVE everything about it scent aside, but I cannot get past how horribly disappointing and, well, horrible the scent is** Perhaps the formula has been changed since other reviews - it smells like a musky old attic, just really not good. Not subtle or cover up-able. I do not want to put that all over me. I cannot repurchase due to this. Do I ever wish it …Read more

Wow, I had fallen in love with the smell of the iris range of Weleda. When I blind-ordered Malva (or Mallow) body lotion I was not aware that it smells exactly like that! Heaven... It is a very nice product, lovely white colour, velvety texture and effective even at the driest parts fo the body. It sinks better when I have just gotten out of the shower, when I put it later it feels a little bit …Read more

Weleda, like Dr. Hauschka, produce and grow their natural ingredients which are used in their products according to bio-dynamic principles, based on the teachings of Dr. Rudolph Steiner.
So basically without paying the steep price of the latter, you can just as easily buy the former and get the exact same benefits.

While the lotion is extremely gentle and smells fabulous, I have …

I have tried a few products from Weleda over the years, and some of them have become staples in my closet, for instance the Everon lipbalm and the Sea Buckthorn shower gel. This lotion is also worth mentioning, as it is quite hydrating, sinks in quickly, and smells great. My skin is dry/very dry with a tendency to exzema and itching, particularly on the shins, but this lotion does a good job of …Read more

Very moisturizing product for both face & body. In fact, it feels so good on my face!! Its true, the mallow extract softens your face fantastically as stated on Weleda's website. Wow, is the word to describe the power of mallow extract. If you have been exposed to harsh weather & your face is very dry and rough, go for this mallow body lotion & use it on your face! Also, if you …Read more

This product is also known as Malva lotion (I think that's the US name and Mallow is the UK name.) Anyway I love this lotion, I'm wondering if it's reformulated because it feels more moisturising using this second bottle than it did the first time I used it. It's one of Weleda's cheaper lotions and EWG.org rates it as one of the least toxic body lotions around. I find it …Read more

I like this body lotion. It isn't heavy but it does have moisturising oils in it and leaves a slight sheen on the skin after application (not greasy). The smell is rather strong, I wish it were a bit more subtle, but I do like it. It is not floral exactly, more like a fairly herby/spicy perfume with some floral element to it. I guess it smells "natural" instead of perfumey! …Read more

It's very unlike me to rate Weleda products this low, but this body lotion really doesn't do it for me. I love the scent - geranium, ylang ylang and mimosa. And for a very light body lotion it's ok, say on my arms and shoulders, upper body generally. But I really need something richer for my legs, especially after shaving, and especially in winter! There are far better Weleda …Read more

I used to use this lotion, I am not using it anymore because now there is the Buckthorn Body Lotion wich I prefer.I don't like the scent of this lotion that much.It is just not my type of scent.I like fruity smells.
I have a very dry skin and this worked perfectly for me.I always used this bodylotion directly after I had taken a shower while my skin was still warm and a little wet.I …

This is a pretty decent moisturiser. It has a very nice texture, and is easily absorbed. I like the scent; mimosa, geranium and ylang ylang, not normally the kind of scent I go for, but this is very subtle. It was not quite moisturising enough for me, but I have very dry skin. It is good value for money, and worth checking out if you're a fan of weleda.
