I love this lipstick! Faithfully been wearing this everyday for 3 or 4 years. I use ROCKIN ROSE LIPLINER from the drug store and a nude lipgloss on top. Absolutely goergous color!!!

This lipstick is ok, nothing special. I have the creme d'nude as well, and feel much about the same about them both, although the creme d 'nude is not as drying. They fade quickly, look patchy quickly and if you're looking for a moisturising lipstick, these are not it.Also I don't understand where the "satin" comes into it , it's drying , name is misleading.I'm nw15 -20 and myth just makes me look washed out. It is a nice colour it just dosen't suit me.

Although this lipstick is sooooo pale I use it on top of other Mac lipsticks. Just put a touch on the middle of my lips after using say Kinda Sexy or Hug Me. Then add a bit of gloss. Lovely! But worn on its own defo not!

lots of hype on this product... and, no, I don't care which movie star uses it.

this is a good lippie for the right color skin and lip pigmentation. if you have darker skin, and pigmented lips, this color will betray you and give you the meat locker look.

personally, I only use it for women whose lips are very pigmented and want a nude color lip -- on top of this color I always use either a colored balm or a lg with color (pink, peach look best). If it is made to stand alone, you will look like you have dry lips after having suffered hypothermia.

Kim Kardashian wears this sometimes, so is written on her web-site (and Angel, of cause). I hardly can believe this, the formula is very thick, more like a matte, not a satin. Directly it applies like a thick milky paste and it is very fair with a hint of yellow, even on my NW 15-20 skin. IMO to let it work you need:
A big, dark eye.
A peachy blush.
A hint of bronzer, even on fair skin.
A nice l/l like stripdown or spice.
A gloss - spring-bean, underage, turkish delight or clear.
A chapstick (I prefer Weleda Everon) applied before.
Just dab it slightly on the lip and smooth it with a gloss.
Otherwise you'll get this 80ties porn-star look.
Before reapplying even out the rest with gloss or chapstick (or remove it) -
otherwise you'll get this flaking plaster look.
Lots of efforts, to make it work, I think. I prefer Nudies which can be reapplied effortless inbetween, without looking in the mirror.
It's not bad, but I cannot recommend this unreservedly.

Hi! Just brought this at the mall last night , couldn't wait to get home to try it on . Omg, i was soooooo disappointed. it look awful.
It's so pale and chalky.
it's might look good for a person who is fair skin, not med/oilve skin. so i have to take it back and do more research on MAC look for a nude lipstick.

If you like the REALLY NUDE LIP look then this is the nude for you, it is must suitable for NC 20 to NC30 skin tone , i wouldn't recommend this for people darker, cause it will wash them out and make them look ill, but for us lighter skin gal, this is the perfect nude, it does not have to much pink or to much peach in it , it is almost like a lip erase in a lipstick form, it completely erases the lip, i will suggest layering a pinkish or peachiest shade of lip gloss on top to give the lip some dimension and shine! A good combo would be Myth and Revealing Lipglass

I wore this the way the reviewer before me mentioned (Oak Lipliner and C-Thru Lipglass). This creates the beautiful, nude-lip look that I adore! I also like Myth with Oak underneath, and no gloss for a nice, natural, nude-lip look. Thanks to the reviewer before me for her wonderful suggestion! :o)
