This is a gorgeous color, nearly an exact duplicate to Essie's "After Sex", though "After Sex" has a better formula and is easier to paint on. I found that Cranberry Flame is a little sheer and streaky and takes longer to dry. It needed three coats to be perfectly opaque on me and to disguise the streakiness. However the color is gorgeous so I would buy it again.

I agree with most of the other comments about this polish. On me, this is a neutral dark cranberry with superfine shimmer. It leans slightly pink and I wouldn't consider it a true red.
Application was alright, the brush was fine, polish would have been a bit easier to control if it was a tiny bit thicker, but application was fairly smooth on the whole. I did two coats …

This is a really pretty color! I love the finish on this polish-so shiny! The application with this one went on a little gloopy for which I took off a lippie. I don't know about the Opi INRAW comparisons because to me this color has a deep pink color while INRAW does not seem pink to me at all. Oh well. This color and finish makes it seem festive to me. This polish dried super quick too! …Read more

i agree with Elankat's review, all the way - this color just doesn't stand out on me like i expected it to. i'm also a neutral/cool PPP and, while it's a nice shade, it just doesn't pop at all. i was hoping that the color would have more depth. application was iffy on the first coat for me, so i applied an extra thick second coat and that evened things out. China Glazes …Read more

A very wearable lady-like shimmery red. It has depth and richness without screaming at you from your fingernails. I will be wearing this one a lot - not too warm and not too cool. A good well rounded red.

I won't go into describing the color because previous reviewers have done a nice job of that. The color is definitely close to OPI's Bogota Blackberry. Where Bogota Blackberry is a holy grail shade for me, Cranberry Flame is simply pretty. Against my skin tone, it just doesn't pop like Bogota does. Plus, application was a bit sheer/thin. Overall, it's a very nice shade that …Read more

If you're wondering which China Glaze polishes are must haves - Cranberry Flame is one that I wholeheartedly support for one of those spots. This rich, shimmery cranberry red shade is looking fabulous on my toes…and everyone seems to agree: my co-workers, my boss, my summer intern, the taxi driver, the random woman who shared the elevator with me, the two Italians that live across from me …Read more

This color is great, get it if you ever see it. It's one of the best China Glazes that you can get. Pure shimmery deep cranberry red.
This color is a rich cranberry pinkish red, and it's deep but it's still pinkish. I have never seen anything like it. It's way more pink and deeper than OPI's most …

Wow! This shimmering cranberry crimson is a knockout! It's slighty darker and bluer than OPI's "I'm Not Really a Waitress," classier looking but with plenty of impact. After two coats some nails looked complete, but it took 3 coats for all the nails to look complete. As with any China Glaze red, you need good base and top coats.

This one is a definate HIT with me. Cranberry Flame is a cherry red with a red shimmer.

It's fairly neutral in shade, maybe leaning a bit more toward cool tones. I find it to be a very deep polish (meaning lots of shimmer/sparkle going on in layers).

Nice price ($4.00 in salon). Great application (1st layer is a bit sheer, but 2 coats is sufficient for true to bottle …
