You can pick up right amount of blush. But this one isn't round headed or with any special angle. Also, if you push it hard on face, the hair will speard, which means your make up can be ruined if you just push a little bit harder.
The price is too steep for just another collection of piece of art in my make up case. I prefer something more user friendly.
Yes, it's very smooth, but not good for applying powder or blush?!?

PROS: When using, most of the powder remains on the ends of the brush hairs; well-made; no animal smell when washing! CONS: A little cost prohibitive ($78 as of 11/15/01); COMMENTS: Tapered brush head consisting of synthetic fibers. Flat ferrule, lucite handle, designed in collaboration with Shu Uemura. I prefer a larger brush head for applying blush.
