This is a great product for sore, tired, worn out feet. Slather a bit on, wrap feet in plastic of cotton booties and wait. It has a really nice cooling effect that helps tired feet feel better. Has a strong minty citrus scent from the essential oils. Once the product has been left on the feet this can double as a scrub when washed off. I agree with another review that this is a bit pricey considering it's mostly kaolin clay and pumice. Nice for a splurge or treat, but I feel like this could easily be duped as a DIY product for a lot less money.

I love this stuff!
Do you absolutely need it? Mmmm, maybe not. But if you're like me and your feet take a beating ( I love to walk for exercise/de-stressing, and I'm a receptionist for a busy company where I can notch up a lot of steps each day), then it's just a lovely thing to give yourself a little pampering. I have this on right now- it's Saturday morning, and after rubbing olive oil over my toenails for moisture I smoothed this on, followed by plastic bags, socks and ug boots.
It's $19.50 for 125g, which my converter says is 4.4 oz, in Australia. I make just over $20.00 an hour. Is it worth an hour of my week, less than every two months to make my feet feel gorgeous? To me, yes.
I love the menthol-like, cool and warm sensation. I think it's important to get extra circulation to the feet and this certainly helps with that.
I pop it on and don't wash it off until I can be bothered. 1-2 hours is ok, I left it overnight once and washing it off was a bit of a task. I like to wash it off in the shower, I take a nail brush in so I can give it all a good scrub, which really is important- you can't expect the mask to do all the work.
It gets rid of smelly toes, sometimes I wear thick tights with shoes all week and my feet feel sweaty and gross. Stinky feet can't survive this mask.
I should mention that I use a pedi thingy ( scholl pedi smooth, I think it's called?) occasionally and moisturise often, so my feet are not overly cracked or dry, just overworked. I always follow this up with a moisturiser, I particularly like to use coconut oil or 3b neat feet.
I highly recommend this, it's a little treat that I think most people can afford. Love your poor feet-they carry you around every day, they deserve it!

This was just ok, it didn't do much for me. HOWEVER, I have a huge problem with chronically dry, cracked feet and layers of calloused skin that seems to come back a day after removing. So, this made my feet feel soft and it was nice while on, but didn't really do anything to help the appearance of my feet, I probably just need something more heavy-duty.

This is a nice foot mask- but I find it too expensive for what it actually does. I usually soak in the tub and then slather this on as I'm getting out. I put plastic bags on my feet and cover the bags in socks. I'll leave on for 30- 1 hour. If you don't scrub this off ( I like to use LUSH little green scrub foot) it really does nothing for your feet. It feels nice whIle it's on- it alternates from cool to warm. If you scrub the mask off your feet it feels quite nice. I always follow the time and scrub with LUSH peppermint for lotion. If you have particularly cracked and sore feet, follow the mask with a light layer of Vaseline mixed with the peppermint lotion. And cover your feet with socks overnight. This will virtually heal any cracks!

I got this because I have had multiple surgeries on my leg and ankle and really wanted a pick me up for my feet.

My foot is NOT dry, nor is it cracked. I used this simply for pampering and refreshing.

I will say that:
1. feels really nice on the feet
2. brightens and cleans (once u scrub)
3. softens a lot! (velvet finish)

I got this for my dad too and he loved it!

I think I'm addicted to this stuff! I use it once a week on the soles of my feet, and I wrap plastic bags around my feet. The mask gives a wonderful warm, tingling sensation as it works. I leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse off in the bath - my feet are in noticeably better shape (it's even cleaned up my cracked heels), and they are left with this amazing, cooling, tingling feeling for hours afterwards.

VOLCANO is a wonderful product. I get regular pedicures and use this to touch-up in between. The price is around $20 for the large size, I got the small for $9. I got 2 uses out of the small size so it's a little pricey.

The product is a thick, grey paste with a mud-like consistency. It smells awful. I can barely stand the strong cinnamon and cloves. Over time I've become more able to put up with it, but it's always going to be unpleasant.

It tingles about 10 minutes after you put it on and ALMOST feels like burning, but it isn't. My skin is red when I wash it off but that goes away after another half hour.

I would recommend using this whenever you have an at home spa day. I do this once a week with Volcano, a hair mask, a face mask, and Ro's Argan Oil body conditioner in my robe while I'm home alone. It's sooo much fun!

I'm a pretty hardcore LUSHie and have tried the majority of products from the store. Volcano is one of my top favorite products of all time!
I love to slather this on my feet before bed. I apply a thin layer as fast as I can, then tie plastic grocery bags around my feet and kick back. The product works better the longer I leave it on, but I've had good results with only a few minutes of time. Once I'm finished I massage and rinse and my feet are left so, so soft. I take care of my feet using BabyFoot peels and Mr. pumice to exfoliate, so my feet aren't in terrible shape to begin with, but this takes it to the next level. I love the tingle I get which lasts for at least an hour. I actually have grown to like he smell- cinnamon and cloves. Overall I would be so sad if Volcano is ever discontinued. I look forward to using it regularly!

I've never used another foot mask so I can't really compare this to any similar items, but I picked up this product expecting it to be a fun, frou-frou, one-time purchase. Like so many such purchases from LUSH, it's now a staple for me. I don't use it super often; just whenever I do an at-home pedicure.

The smell is not the most wondrous thing. It's a warm and spicy scent, but very medicinal. Think cinnamon-flavored cough syrup, maybe. I hated it the first time I used it, but it kind of grew on me and now it doesn't bother me at all.

The mask is a thick, gray paste, mostly smooth but with a few scrubby bits (ground-up pumice). Once spread on the feet, it produces the loveliest tingling sensation, alternating between cooling and warming. I really do recommend wrapping your feet in plastic wrap or some other kind of foot wrap after applying this. It really amplifies the tingliness and adds an extra dimension of relaxation to the mask. (I've tried it without wrapping the feet; it's still nice, but lacks the "oomph.")

I leave it on for about 20 minutes, unwrap my feet, add a bit of water to re-wet the product, massage it into my feet for a minute or two, then rinse. My feet feel extra-clean and fresh, and the skin looks a bit brighter, too. One tip: if you have dry/rough cuticles or skin around your toenails, put a bit of extra mask there and make sure to concentrate on that area when you're scrubbing the mask off.

Had been debating whether to buy this for ages, and boy am I glad I did! The smell is something I don't mind (after using LUSH's henna,Cosmetic Warrior and H'Suan Wen Hua, nothing is too smelly to use!!! ), and I admit, my face was a bit of a picture when I first had it on my feet, read the ingredients and saw potato and tomato on there! But this, with its foot tingling magic, is a godsend. I work for a wildlife park, so am on my feet all day, and always wear hot and heavy walking boots no matter what the weather, so my poor feet have been in a poor state lately (read: dry, flaky, blistered and cracked, or, in other words, gross!) to the point where I've been embarrassed to wear sandals or take my socks off (which has obviously made things worse at this time of year). I leave it on for at least three quarters of an hour, wrapped in clingfilm,, and tuh duh! Good as new. Only thing that bothers me is the price, but I'm willing to pay that much to keep my feet this pampered, as they do need a lot of TLC.
