I love Jane iredale BB Glow Time Foundation. But this Concealer is totally overpriced and useless. It applies dry and has a paste like consistency, which doesn't blend at all. It's just patchy and sits in the skin. Doesn't work on blemishes or under the eye area.

I have used this in both medium-light and medium. Not recommended for under eyes. It can give good coverage but more than once, I was getting dark, almost black streaks through the product. Didn't matter how much I shook, rolled, or squeezed the tube before using. Wasted to much money trying this and ending up with black streaks I had to wash off of my face. I also didn't really like how it felt on my face or how the coverage looked. I get way better and much more natural looking coverage from the PP base.

This is a love-hate product for me. Took me several months of occasional attempts to make it work to actually Make it work! All those videos, incl. on the JI site, on how to use it that suggested the ordinary concealer brush and/ or finger application were absolutely no use :( Too gooey and quick drying for that. But eventually i found the Only way to use it - I buff it in with a soft micro kabuki style brush that is usually marketed for eyeshadows (mine is the MUFE #218; Zoeva also makes these). I squeeze a tiny drop onto the back my hand and slightly dip the bristles and buff it - then with almost no noticable product on the brush lightly buff it onto the spot barely touching the skin. The blemish dissapears that instant! Magic! :) So, it is extremely full coverage, and it also covers the texture really well (pimple scabs, for example). It has the perfect ingredients that really sooth and kinda heal the skin (no joke here - was really surprised as it may be more healing than my "proper" skincare regimen for those nasty occasional blemishes). Now the downside: it separates on oily areas and it dries the dehydrated areas more, so the solid wear time is around only 4 hours; it is so thick that it is perfect to conceal the most awful blemish, which makes it too thick when there's only a residual mark left (the separation/drying in mind); it is truly full coverage which makes it not the best choice for minor skin defects as the minor spot might be less noticable than the concealer. And the application which makes it difficult to spot-conceal when the "spot" is dot-small. Oh, and when it sets upon initial application, it goes like 1-2 shades darker than straight out of the tube, didn't notice much color oxidisation later on. Overall, for me personally: it is for pimples/scabs/freshly post-pimple blemishes only - but for these uses it is totally HG (the ingredients and soothing effect in mind; also the color as I'm fair like NC-10-15* and those rare brands that are both "natural" and effective don't usually make fair-colored makeup). Powdering with JI foundation helps a lot with staying power and to color-correct.Will be repurchasing until I find a better concealer, i.e. with as safe and soothing ingredients as this one has but with better staying power and may be a better color match (paler than the JI #1). *The color #1 sets darker and yellower than my skin tone, but it is still better than the alternatives for the uses I keep it for. And I color-correct with JI powder foundation in Bisque.P.S. I like the tube packaging. But hate the felt cover of the "applicator" tip (both totally useless and unhygienic) - so i literally shaved the felt off and now the tip is simple plastic :)

I was unable to use this despite trying all sorts if application methods until I tried mixing a pea sized amount with my sunscreen. This gives just enough coverage to conceal minor flaws....perfect for warm summer days.

Anyone who is not giving this 5 stars must not be applying it correctly! The applicator is useless. You need to use a concealer brush and the tiniest amount. I am a professional MUA and this is one my few cannot live without products. Not great for under eyes but phenomenal everywhere else. Just a little bit and blend with a brush, Using it like this is like using an eraser on your face!

I got a really large sample of this from my spa that sells Jane Iredale products. I was told this has natural antibiotics and that it does dry quickly, but because it helps heal it is a great product. I found myself so disappointed with this. This did nothing to help calm my acne. I was really counting on that being the girl raved about it so much. My biggest complaint is because of the drying formula. This dries so quickly even if I wet my brush with a makeup setting spray. This will dry before I can even blend it into my skin. The color is off. I had to have two shades mixed together to match my skin. Maybe because it is the formula drying too quickly, but I can never get this to blend into my skin well. Just nothing worth the trouble of this.

Coming from a big Jane Iredale fan... I must say this is an absolute no!!! Under your foundation this looks like a bruise. The fuzzy applicator gets very dirty and I think it is quite unsanitary. Nor worth it for the price.

I like the tube, but the applicator is useless. Until I read previous review with application tips, I thought the product was useless too. As a test, I covered a freckle on the tip of my nose and it is now invisible with no sign of the makeup. For me, it is too drying to use around eyes or on my chin, but on small areas it works really well. However, it was not good for covering a scar. It did even the color, but to my eyes that accentuated the texture of the scar. I rarely use it. Prefer something faster and easier but does do the job if u have something in need of total coverage.

To be honest, I hated this concealer when I first tried it. It is super thick, dries too quickly and doesn't blend well. I nearly threw it out, actually. Then I discovered that if I mix it with a bit of my liquid foundation it becomes much more blendable, and the coverage is still sufficient enough to disguise my awful dark circles. Saved! I would definitely not repurchase, though, considering the bother of mixing, the price and the plethora of safe and natural concealer options available.

I had high hopes for this as i LOVE the pressed base, blush and spray mist. However, this was a big disappointment. At first i got the ligh/medium and it was too dark and you could see the spots i put it on. Then i got the light, and it was way too light, again you could see where i applied it. It was much too thin to actually stay on my face, and it didn't cover very well. I found as the day went on it would get patchy where it was applied and looked cakey. The applicator tip is not helpful at all and quite messy.Overall i would recommend any of the other fantastic concealers out there...CoverFX, Estee Lauder, even drug store brands.
