The shade itself is gorgeous - sheer nearly-white nearly opaque. But I couldn't get it to go on without streakiness and splotchiness. Gobbing it on really thick helped but didn't fix the problem. I used two coats on my entire nail, over MAC basecoat.

I am going to re-evaluate this as time goes on. I find it to be more sheer than cream and with the white color, it's hard to apply evenly for some reason. Maybe I'm just not used to this type of color. It's got less coverage than Gossamer in that Gossamer is a thicker milky pinky-white, but predominantly white, and this is white...and it's definitely whiter than Pretty Miss. I don't think this is meant to be worn as a basic nail color, but to be used as a french tip color. It makes a super nice french tip. continued >>
