I think I got sucked into the cute packaging and by the really good salesperson... :( The lip buffing beads are okay. It takes quite a bit of rubbing to get all the flakeys off my lips. The lipgloss is okay. Has a slight scent of apples I think. I only need to squeeze super lightly to get enough product on my lips. And I quite like the fact that it's slightly hard when it comes out of the …Read more

I bought this on a whim at Macy's for over $30 because exfoliating your lips sounded like a good idea at that time.

This is a set of two tubes- one called buffing lip beads and another called silky lip balm. Buffing lip beads is basically a grainy cream that you rub on your lips. You apply the silky balm later to moisturize.

In theory, this product- if it does what it …

This was my favorite lip set before I discovered the philosophy set. The exfoliating scrub works better than any other that I've tried and is creme based rather than oil based. The lip balm is thick and stays on your lips rather than smudging around your mouth. Both products will give you very soft lips especially when used together.

So this product is just all right, nothing too special. I've tried Laura Geller Lip Strip and it is a better in my opinion... The buffing beads are okay, wish they had a more minty taste but oh well and the silky lip balm is a little thick at first but melts pretty quickly into the lips. Feels sorta like vaseline. Not worth the money.

I am disappointed by this product.

My toothbrush, or even facial exfoliator such as St. Ives Apricot Scrub, does a better job at exfoliation than the Benefit buffing beads. I have very dry, chapped lips and i do not feel that the benefit buffing beads are as good...not worth it for it's over priced expensive lip balm.

I do like the softening lipbalm though - it does not …

Nice lip buffing beads and lip balm. Its too bad you can't just buy the lip balm on its own. It is a little thick and hard to get out of the tube, but after it softens up with heat its great and really moisturizing and protecting. I really like it. Use the buffing beads with a mascara wand and it will really take off the dead skin.

I've used many a lip exfoliator-TBS,Mary Kay,C.O. Bigelow,Laura Geller,Tarte-I would have to say MK is my favorite, but this is a close second.I have dry, flaky lips all year round but especially in winter.I even stopped using toothpaste with SLS for that reason.
As far as the balm goes, this one outweighs the MK by a long shot;the MK is just petrolatum and thus isn't that great of a …

Oh... I so wanted to love this product! I don't know if I had one of a bad bunch or something... The exfoliator beads I thought worked ok, They did get the dry skin off my lips, which was great- but the balm. Blam my backside- it was rocksolid and you could slice it into chunks. Even when I put a chunk on my lip trying to rub it together to warm it up never did anything. I was so …Read more

I agree that this product is expensive and that there are other ways to exfoliate your lips, but I do not understand the reviews that say there was no difference in the before and after. That's impossible. This is a very good product and I would bet 99% of people will see results. The exfoliator has AHA in it to help slough away dead cells that a toothbrush cannot. The balm is an awesome …Read more
