This particular lipstick was an impulse buy, but I certainly don't regret it. Granted, I do have a couple of pinks - ranging from soft to loud - but this one is I reach for more than any of them. This one is a tad bit more emollient than other lipsticks offered by NARS, but it still veers slightly to the dry side so it's a good idea to prime - and moisturize the lips - prior to application. I know it's trendy to go sans liner right now, but I would personally lightly define the lips beforehand just to ensure that the lips are defined and the lines are crisp. It looks a little more polished. Personally, I haven't had too much of a problem with the color bleeding or feathering, but like all regular lipsticks, it's necessary to touch up if you're planning on chowing down, smooching, etc. As far as the shade goes, I would say that it's best described as a bubblegum pink. As a matter of fact, it reminds me of the BubbleYum packets of gum that I used to reach for as a kid. It's very richly pigmented though, so with one or two swipes, you have full opacity. This is one of the two pinks that I recommend if you're looking for a bright, Barbie pink to your collection.
