Ambra del Nepal is in my top 20 of favorite perfumes. It's not super-strong, but people do notice when I wear it (it has gotten me a lot of compliments, especially from menfolk). It sticks around without being overwhelming, and lasts about five hours on me.
I love that the vanilla part is cozy and the amber part smells romantic and mysterious. The vanilla is like a creamy vanilla …

Oh, I so wanted to like this, but no! I love amber, and cardamom is my favorite spice and smell in the world. Unfortunately, Ambra del Nepal smells like bubblegum and melon on me. I'm serious: this is straight up fruity candy on my skin. No spices to be found at all, and it smells less like an oriental and more like a Lip Smackers gloss. :(

I really like this scent. Straight amber is too...medicinal for me to enjoy completely, but this is creamy. I do wish it were just a tad less sweet, but I can get past that. It lasts a reasonable amount of time. I can smell it on myself without having to bring my wrist to my nose, but is not overly strong either. Someone would have to be very close to smell it.

I just have a …

Ambre del Nepal is a delightful scent; the amber is enhanced by the light and air from the citrus-y cardamom note and the warmth from the vanilla. I think. That’s mostly a wild guess on my part. It disappears off me faster than I can spray it out of the bottle. It didn’t stick well on my test subject, my husband, either. Normally scents blossom much better on him than on me. It has very little …Read more

This is a really lovely amber. A very soft, warm, and comforting scent that stays very close to the skin. This is one of my winter staples. It's not cloying like a lot of ambers can be and the cardamom keeps it from being overly powdery as well. The only negative is that I go through it very fast because the lasting power isn't the best.

This is such a delicate creamy amber fragrance in EDP. After trying Ambra del Nepal in The Green Lady Soap version, I was longing to get my hands (more like nose) on this one by IPdF.

It lacks the initial synthetic notes found in the Green Lady Soap one but unfortunately it doesn't last long or leave enough wafts for an amber fragrance in EDP! Maybe its because i used from a …

Am I crazy or does this smell exactly like Black Cashmere? I haven't smelled BC in a while, but once I sprayed this it was instantly familiar. I like BC, so I like AdN, but obviously, the price differential is there. It could be that my unsophisticated nose can't pick out the other notes that distinguish AdN from BC, or maybe that's just how it comes out on my skin (I have wonky …Read more

Very, very sweet on my skin, and extremely uncomplicated. It would be easy to duplicate this with inexpensive oils from the new age emporium or health food store (amber and vanilla), and those would be likely to have better lasting power.

Very pretty! I do not generally wear amber well, so Ambra del Nepal was a lovely surprise for me - and certainly the best amber-based perfume I have found so far! It definitely has that initial burst of chocolate that always means amber on my skin, but then it softens into a gorgeous mix of vanilla, woods and amber, with a slight hint of incense. I find it quite linear, but it is deliciously …Read more

I have been looking for an amber scent - one that doesn't turn "Shalimar-y" on my skin. Don't get me wrong, I love Shalimar, but I wanted an amber without those famous powdery and musky accords, something I could wrap myself in, like a warm cashmere sweater, on a cold winter day. I have found it in Ambra del Nepal. It's pure amber, with a touch of vanilla, a delicious …Read more
