This one didn't immediately cause a stir. The first few times I tried Talco Delicato I liked it but wasn't in love. As time passed and I went from a sample to a decant to another decant I somehow came to really appreciate it.
I can see the comparisons to baby oil, but it reminds me a bit of Laura Tonatto Plaisir. There's just the underlying something that makes it a snuggly …

The first time I heard of I Profumi di Firenze was when I had the suggestion to try Talco Delicato, because I was searching for a "citrusy yet powdery" fragrance. Weird, because I am Italian and I had never heard of I Profumi di Firenze before, or maybe I had heard but let them pass, because they cost so little I wouldn't give them any attention.
The truth is, I profumi di …

Not baby powder so much as baby oil. I agree with previous reviews: It is a baby product. I was soooo hoping for a more sophisticated powdery scent, but this is a perfect example of why I hated powdery scents for so long: I don't wish to smell like a baby, and when I do, I will spend a buck and a half on a bottle of baby oil. Plus this went on like nail polish remover; sharp, nose-burning …Read more

I bought the 'profumo senza alcool' of this and use it to freshen up washed towels and bed linen. It's clean, and as its name suggests - talcy.
Linear, uncomplicated, good value for money ( 100ml for 12 euros!), I also bought the Lavanda and the sicilian lemon and use them in the same way - on linen.
Nice.

I smelt this from a sample vial. Initially this smells really odd like a sweet furniture polish but then within a minute this settles into sweet milky vanilla scent. In the dry down this smells exactly like raspberry ripple ice cream on me!!!

I have tested this scent and considering that I've only used this from a mini sample vial, the fragrance lasts for 8 hours on …

My first encounter with Talco Delicato was with a swap sample that had turned bad, so my initial impression was way off. I don't know which came first, Lorenzo Villoresi's Teint de Neige or TD, but they are almost identical: white musk mixed with vanilla and heliotrope -- scents that envelop you like sweet powder. TdN is sweeter, stronger, and sexier... I've had compliments from …Read more

Hmm. I really don't know what to do with this one. As much as I like powdery heliotrope (etc) scents, to me, this smells somewhat chalky. It lacks the cooling warmth (if that makes sense) of Etro's Heliotrope, FM's L'Eau d'Hiver, or AL's Doll Face. There *is* something here that is nice, familiar, and not altogether unpleasant, but I can't get past the …Read more

This is one of the few i Profumi fragrances to give me an instant headache.

Beyond that, the cloyingly sweet, gag inducing sent me running to clean it off.

Yuck. I got nothing but bad powder.

On the positive side, it washed off quickly.

I adore this scent because it is so unusual. I dont get the baby powder reference at all like a lot of others. For me the citrus notes sharpen an otherwise powdery vanilla. It almost has a medicinal sherbety edge, which may not sound appealing, but somehow it's addictive. The drydown is a much softer version, without the citrus, which ends up being a pretty powdery floral. I love the unusual …Read more
