This cleanser is best for someone with oily skin, or combination skin that's oilier than it is dry. The third ingredient is a sulfate detergent, and sulfates are characteristically strong even when they're gentle. Since my skin is wholly dry, it left my skin tight & crying for lotions & potions after using it, but there was no irritation at all. It's overpriced for sure, and unless you're hooked on it, I'd suggest checking out the plain Olay cleansers in the tube (sensitive skin & oily formulations aren't much different) which run $4-6 and often can be found on sale.

I've used this the past 5 years. I do find it takes off my makeup however I dont use foundation or really heavy makeup so the negative reviews might be from people who wear more makeup. I love it personally. I have extremely sensitive skin and I use this every night. It leaves my skin clean without feeling tight or dry. Ive tried other cleansers, even pricier ones, and nothing compares. It takes a bit getting used to as it does not lather however if you massage it over your face for a minute you will find it does a great job.

I found this product to be quite average or maybe even a tad below. My skin felt like it wasn't really clean afterwards and it doesn't really lather at all. The bottle was really awkward to use and I didn't really like the smell. The cost was okay but not something I will buy again. I wanted to give this product the benefit of the doubt due to rave reviews on Mecca but I felt unsatisfied with the product and returned it.

A good cleanser that does not dry the skin out and does not cause breakouts on sensitive skin. It's a decent price and you get plenty of product.

LOVE this cleanser! Everything from the feel, to the scent, to the packaging is perfect. Definitely worth the money.

Even pharmacy products have pumps! Unfortunately this was a product that made me fall for it's hype. It's not really a great cleanser. Doesn't remove makeup or clean the skin. I think it's probably just a placebo effect, where one thinks it's doing more than it really is.This has kind of a custard feel to it, doesn't sud up making it seem that it must be better because it's not soapy, the ingredients in it suggest otherwise. This leaves a film layer on the skin. Which I'm not sure is good for the skin and my skin always feels dry.Too expensive for no results or improvement in my skincare.

I really don't consider this a product to completely clean my face. I use it to remove my makeup BEFORE I cleanse my face. It leaves a greasy residue on the face. I don't think any serum would absorb into that. I use Purity, then I use Erno Laszlo Black Sea Mud Soap, and then Clinique's #2 Toner. I am 73, rushing toward 74, and people always think I am in my mid to late 50's. I know this routine seems long, but remember ladies - No free lunch!!!!

I love this product, recently bought my third bottle. It does not remove all of my makeup (especially eye makeup) so I only use this in the morning. I put it on my face before I shower, it's recommended on dry skin and I don't actually remember why but when the lady told me it made sense, and rinse it off. My skin feels completely clean and then I only use a moisturizer.

I love this cleanser because it removes my make up completely in one wash. It also removes all the oil from a day out without drying out my skin. It's great for sensitive skin and does not break me out at all. It helps with clearing some of my pimples and acne scar.
