If you're not dark-skinned, I recommend using this as a contouring powder. I find that the brown-based contouring powders make my face look muddy & this one is more natural-looking.

Warning: VERY PIGMENTED. You feel like you're swiping those art charcoal sketching chalks onto your face.

The trick here is to use a fan brush because it will pick up minimal …

I discovered this product only because I once sold Benefit Cosmetics. I was one of the few African American sales persons in california. I admit , Benefit cosmetics did NOT supply many product for the African American community. However, After testing 98% of the products on myself as well as other african american women, I found that they DO offer a few GREAT products that I would HIGHLY …Read more

I got this cheap in TKMaXX in a set and couldnt see the colour.I just took a chance as £9.99 for a blusher,an eyeshadow and a lipstick seemed too good a bargain to miss.Once I got it home I was like "oh noooo,a purple blush" and was all ready to swap it away without even trying it.Then a few days later I swiped it on my hand and it looks quite natural so I gave it a go on my skin.WOW it …Read more

I had to comment after I saw the bad reviews and the "this would probably work for a black woman" comment. I have to confirm that this blush is great for darker skin tones. I am dark (MAC NW45-50 in summer) and this and Nars Exhibit A are my favs. Just pretty and natural when applied right. Everything else makes be look ashy. Hope this helps.

I agree with Mriaow: this purple blush is for black women. Of course, I didn't know it when I bought this blush on Ebay. I can't say it's a bad quality item but it's not the right product for me. In this light, I wouldn't repurchase this Benefit blush again.

This is a rather odd shade- a deep matte blackberry/plum/purple. Very dark, and not suitable for most fair=medium skintones. It makes me look bruised, actually. Having said that, I suspect this might look great on darker, African-American skintones.
