I have been using Neutrogena Visibly Clear face wash for several years now, but I found it drying lately so I changed it to Toleriane. I love this face wash and so glad I discovered it. I daily use a liquid foundation and this cleanser cleans it perfectly without leaving anything. It feels super clean after using but not drying. Smell is not bothering me and I think it is better than parfumed ones as it feels non chemical. If you have oily combo and sensitive skin you should definitely try this!!

This is HG for me. And it's the only thing my skin tolerates! I've tried EVERYTHING under the sun; only this cleanser + the Toleriane Ultra lotion work for me. My skin is very very intolerant and sensitive BUT it's also combination/oily and prone to breakouts (hormone + bad makeup removal habits...)Keep in mind that if you have the same issues as me, you only need to wash your face ONCE A DAY (at night) unless there's a very good reason. My dermatologist told me that and it was life-changing. Until then i had washed my face twice a day and it didn't help. You can re-moisturized in the morning if your house is dry or if it's winter (it's like hair but that's another story)The cleanser is a cream (think Pond's) and is very thick. When you massage your face you already feel like you are taking care of it. Rinse with lukewarm water (never hot!!!) and pat yourself with a clean towel. The results are amazing after 3-4 days already: glowy skin, no more red patches and weird little bumps, my skin is healthy and even!!! I'm amazed. Plus, if you look on skindeep, La Roche posay products score very well in terms of toxicity and other health concerns (1/10 i believe which is super duper low)The only small downside is the price: 25$ is a bit steep when you're on a budget, but keep in mind that if you wash once a day, it will last for a long time!!

I really love this cleanser. I love the way it is packaged, you get a lot of product without overspending, I love the natural scent and I like the way it makes my skin feel. I use this once a day in the shower at the end of the day. I have really bad acne, I can't say it has helped my acne very much, however, I love how it leaves my skin feel super clean when I'm done washing it. It doesn't leave a layer of moisture on top of my skin like many other cleansers tend to do (which in the long run makes you breakout). I recommend using this once a day, then following it up with the matte La Roche moisturizer. It hasn't cured my acne, but has made it more manageable,

Holy grail cleanser. The BEST I've found for my combination, acne-prone skin. I will say that this can be a bit drying, but I combat that with a heavier moisturizing routine (Vitamin E oil). I use the Makeup Eraser (polyester cloth sold at Sephora) to remove my makeup and then follow up with this. Afterwards, my skin feels so soft and best of all, spot-free! If you're struggling to find a cleanser that doesn't break out out, I would really give this a shot. It's been a game-changer for me!

Not really satisfied with this product. Was recommended by mom's friend who said that it helped clear up her daughter's acne problem. After using it for about a week, I noticed that my forehead has tiny bumps. They weren't acne or blackheads/whiteheads, and even though I applied my pimple cream, which usually clears up bumps similar to these in 2 nights or so, it was still there. A few pimples grew too,but not a breakout. Many said that this cleanser really cleanses your skin, but I find that it only cleanses the oil on the surface and doesn't deep-clean, making my skin feel oily shortly after I wash my face. But this product works for some people so maybe you can try it out, it's pricey but just a little of tiny amount of this product is enough for a single use, foams and lathers well, so it does last long.Got rid of the tiny bumps using my Proactiv refining mask and switching to Sebamed clear face cleansing foam

I have tried just about every product under the sun to help clear up my adult onset acne and nothing....nothing worked until Toleriane Foaming Cleanser. I saw it in Target, did some reading up on the product line and it had everything that I was looking for in a cleanser right now. I am being treated with Benzaclin gel for the acne and after a month of use, my skin is almost 100% clear now. The problem is that the Benzaclin is very drying and also makes the top layers of skin shed quickly so it can get dry but still produce oil and acne. A Catch-22. I bought the Toleriane Foaming Cleanser, the gel that removes makeup, and the matching Toeriane Ultra moisturizing cream. I dropped close to $90 on all this stuff which I usually wouldn't do. All I can say is that I am torpor hooked. The foaming cleanser is so creamy and foamy that you only need less than a small pea-sized drop to use. It removes all makeup and grime on the first wash. The more creamy cleanser is great for removing makeup and giving a super boost of hydration but I use it sparingly because I feel it might be a bit heavy for me to use daily. The Tolerine Ultra moisturizing lotion is so soothing, absorbs quickly, and is has not created a mess of oil or acne on my face! I think I have found the products I have been looking for to use with the Benzaclin prescription. Pricey, but you use so little of it to get results that the cost versus amount needed is a really good deal. My dermatologist also told me that LaRoche Posay makes some of the best and gentlest products. She loves their suncare line and said my skin looked wonderful and very clear. Give this a try if you have sensitive or troubled skin. Try alternating the foaming cleanser and the cream cleanser. I love this stuff and will continue to use it. I will repurchase for sure!

Great bang for your buck bc the tube lasts about 4 months. There's basically no chemicals in it. I really just use it to wash my face before I go to the gym.it does what it's supposed to do. A drop cleans your whole face and next

My skin is very sensitive and so for every product that has worked out well for me, I've probably had five that had to be returned. This formula is good for oily skin that is also sensitive.PROS:-Literally gets my skin squeaky clean, as in, I rub my finger over my forehead and it squeaks when I'm rinsing my face.-Takes off all my makeup. This is one of the only cleansers I can use without a separate makeup remover.-Doesn't irritate my skin.-My skin has been oily lately due to humid weather and this cleans my face better than Toleriane Dermo-Cleanser, although that formula is gentler.-This cleanser is excellent for very oily skin types that want to eliminate zits.-Fragrance FreeCONS:-Not the best thing for dry skin. This feels similar to washing with bar soap. It removes any trace of oil, so I would not recommend it for dry to very dry skin types.-Pricey at $24 for 4.22 ounces-Not a cruelty free brand (First Aid Beauty and Paula's Choice are cruelty free and make vegan face cleansers for sensitive skin).-Sometimes it's difficult to control the amount that comes out of the tube. When the room is hot, it seems like more product is dispensed than usual with the same squeeze.INGREDIENTS:Water, Glycerin, Potassium Myristate, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Potassium Stearate, Potassium Laurate, Potassium Palmitate, Coco-Glucoside, Tetrasodium EDTA

No frills. It cleans, leaves no film, removes makeup and sunscreen (I use very little makeup, so not sure for waterproof etc.). It has no scent. It can be drying, but not in an irritated skin way, more like washing your face with soap. I need a more gel cleanser in the morning, but like the feeling of having my face squeaky clean at night.

When I bought this cleanser, I was in a part of the world where La Roche Posay only offers two different kinds of cleansers in the Toleraine line: dermo-cleanser and purifying foaming cream. I would have gotten the foaming gel instead if it were available, as I believe that my skin is more on the dry/dehydrated side.I always use Muji beating net to lather up my cleanser before I put only the foams and not the cleanser itself on my face (I do the same thing when I use Dove Beauty Bar). In comparison, this cleanser very obviously lathers up a lot more and the foams are a lot thicker. However, I do think this cleanser dries my skin out a lot more than Dove Beauty Bar does. (Strangest thing too, as it ticks all the boxes for a mild cleanser targeted at sensitive skin, unlike Dove Beauty Bar.)So far I haven't experienced any overly unpleasant reaction, but I keep reaching for Dove Beauty Bar instead of this as my skin is going through a phase where it needs to heal and finds its way back to the balance. Maybe that's why I find this cleanser drying at the moment.I plan on using it once in a while as a "deep cleansing" cleanser, and we will see how things go from there.
