It has a good coverage but it doesn't stays on for a long time. In my opinion more affordable foundations are doing the same job. It's not worth the price!

I find this tricky to work with and I don’t find myself reaching for it often anymore. Some of my real life friends feel the same so I know it’s not me. About me: 40, normal skin, tone is light/medium cool and ranges nw20-30. I had this in 5.25 (medium cool) which was a good match as I’m very pink toned, but I get the small bottles ran out after months of trying to make this work, and I know have 4.75, a shade lighter in cool. 4.75 is a little light but I make it work shade wise with powders and contour bronzers blushes etc. Why I find this much harder to work with despite having a great finish (why I forced myself to use up my 5.25 ha), is that unless you apply it just so it emphasizes pores and doesn’t blend well - streaky. I’ve been liking to use brushes lately (kabuki, flat top, any foundation brush) to get nice coverage for redness and minor circles. However, this only applies well for me with a damp beauty blender and that sheers the coverage to less than that of my Laura mercier oil free tinted moisturizer (“silk” finish tho which is beautiful but it’s a hit or miss trying to get it perfect). This is with a multitude of primers and setting powders - I always set my foundation with one of my many powders and mehhh. For this reason I’d not repurchase. Hand application is an utter nightmare. It must absolutely must be bounced on & not moved around or streaks and pores abound. It does go amazing on the fine lines though. Additionally, it’s very important to me that my makeup lasts and doesn’t rub off or shift. This isn’t the greatest for that. And even with careful application it starts to show my barely existent nose pores after some hours. I have many many better foundations at this price range. Disappointed. Edit: it, like Chanel VA, contains alcohol :(

I sampled this today in shade 5 and was impressed with the medium satin finish. It covered my pink cheeks but still allowed my freckles to peep through, which I liked. I can’t 5/5 it because foundation shows it’s true colors over time. I’d have to research it more to see if it oxidizes or causes breakouts.

I love the finish. Natural, skin-like. Sadly it gives me breakout. My perfect foundation hunt continues.

When I first used this foundation, I was very ecstatic! I thought I'd found the *perfect* foundation, and I immediately took some selfies and told my friends what foundation I was wearing so that they could run out and buy it too! However, even though I truly did love and enjoy this foundation, it is also really expensive and I have since found other foundations I like just as much for almost half the price. I think I was so astounded by this foundation because I just hadn't used very many foundations before, and I'd been having some bad experiences with a couple, so when I found this one, I thought it was a super-special, one-of-a-kind thing. So, even though there's nothing wrong with this foundation and there are no particular problems I can point out, I'm still giving it four stars rather than five because there's just honestly better stuff out there not only for the price but in general. If you want some foundation recommendations that are good alternatives to this (and all are less expensive than this one!), here you go:If you're looking for a full-coverage foundation: If you're looking for a medium-coverage foundation: If you're looking for a sheer/light-coverage foundation:

Extremely underwhelmed with this foundation. It is overpriced simply due to it working like a regular foundation. I do feel like cheaper foundations are able to provide the same results.

Okay, very expensive and not the best i have tried so far. Wouldn't buy it again. Foundation shouldn't be more than 15-20 dollar, as the ingredients are very low price nowadays.

I like this foundation a lot, but I think it's too expensive and it also doesn't last on my skin very well...it just doesn't adhere to it. I ordered the mini-size from Sephora, which is $42 for just 0.6 oz of product. For an every day look, I use 2 pumps and dot it on my face, and then blend/buff with my Sigma F80 brush (I don't own a makeup sponge, so I can't speak to that application) -- this foundation applies smoothly and evenly and it looks very skin-like. I would call the coverage low-medium -- it won't cover acne or widespread redness, but it does even out the skin nicely, more so than a TM. If you want a bit more coverage, you can build it in very light layers. The finish on my normal-to-combo skin is very natural upon application, though I do powder it to set. I haven't had any breakouts or skin issues from the formula, but the foundation breaks down and separates visibly around the 5-hour mark, which isn't enough longevity for me. The shade I picked (4.5) is a bit dark/warm for my neutral/cool NW15-20 skin, but on my bronzed summer face I'm making it work with the NYX white mixer. I will try to finish up my mini-bottle, but I wouldn't purchase the full-size because of the steep price and the longevity issues. However, if I were planning my makeup for a special event, and my foundation didn't have to last past 4-6 hours, I would definitely get another mini of this product (or even just a sample).

For years I had an oily complexion and as a result was only attracted to a matte look on my face. However, as I've got older and now have combination skin, I realise that a matte look is aging. I'm Indian in ethnicity with medium dark tan complexion & wanted a foundation which added a glow/ plumpness to skin but provided enough coverage to blur melasma patches. I love this foundation, the colour match is near perfect and it gives a luminous look without being glittery or looking oily. Its gives a very natural look, I set with Armani Prima make up fix and a little of Nars finishing power of my t zone and it stays put all day even with my combination.skin. Yes the price is expensive, but its worth the price as the finish is great. Highly recommend
