Very nice scent but it doesn't smell like tuberose. It smells like incense and vanilla; a little powdery but nice. But it doesn't smell like tuberose at all. Il Profumo Eclair de Tubereuse is a tuberose that smells very much like the flower and is very similar to Fraca but not as sweet. Edited an hour later: Now in the dry down I finally smell the tuberose, but it took so long to get here and I still smell the insence. I like my tuberose better without insence.

Perfect tuberose IS close to the perfect tuberose if you're looking for something with a scent VERY similar to the scent of the flower. Still not an exact replicate but one of the closer ones I have found. I'm not giving this a 4 or 5 because my favorite tuberose so far is Michael Kors (love how it is tuberose/ heady YET FRESH! at the same time)..... Tuberose fans MUST give this a try though. ;) :)

This had a strange medicinal smell, a little sweet but also a little sour on my skin. I can faintly smell something heady and tuberose-like in the background but the overall impression is powdery cough medicine.

For tuberose, I'd rather go for Fracas or smell my Diptyque candles – but after getting over the disappointment that this didn't really smell tuberose, I found that it is a lovely (although a bit sweet) fragrance. It is described as having tuberose in the middle note, but to me the predominant notes are vanilla and (I think) sandalwood. This may sound like a weird description, but the first ten minutes it smells a bit like root beer tastes – sweet and quite spicy (think cinnamon, plastic and brown sugar). All in all - a nice and different fragrance. I'll definitely use up my bottle, but for a classic tuberose experience I'll continue to use Fracas.

MAD for this! I adore Tuberose (although not so crazy for the musty heaviness of Fracas, no matter how sparingly applied) and this is such a gorgeous version of a Tuberose scent. Mixed beautifully with Perfect Gardenia or Perfect Veil as well.

If you've smelled Fracas and Versace Blonde and concluded that tuberose-based scents give you a headache, you might want to try CS Perfect Tuberose. It captures the essence of tuberose, which is a white flower similar to gardenia but richer and sweeter, but then renders it a tad too sweet for my taste by adding gardenia, bergamot, vanilla, and musk. You can calm it down by layering it with Perfect Chypre or something similar, but there are better tuberose fragrances out there.
