Mini Glam is my third Denona mini palette after Mini Nude and Mini Star and least favourite so far. The best reformulated shade is there is the matte dark brown Seed which can turn any look effortlessly smokey blending in seconds and the saving grace of the palette. I also like Golden Flesh which is a moderately warm toned metallic brronze. Then Anjo which I was most excited translates as a bit dull on the lids, it basically aspires to be Pat McGrath's Telepathic Taupe but doesn't have even 1/4 of its glorious radiance and pizzazz. Harlow is a weird greenish grungy beige and Faye just does not pop at all. The mattes have excellent formula but the metallics must be applied with fingers to avoid looking patchy.

I didn't quite know what to rate this..... the quality of the shadows is excellent, they are buttery and blendable and you can definitely tell they are pretty lux but I found them to be incredibly crumbly and fragile in the pan/packaging.... For me by far the worst thing about the palette was that it is absolutely not cool toned. It might be cool toned on some people depending on your skin tone, overtone, undertone, etc but for me (I'm extremely pale with neutral leaning cool skin) every shade except the dark brown was aggressively yellowish gold toned and reads as very warm. I prefer and look better in cool colors. Plus I already have several warm palettes for when I do want those type of shades. So that was disappointing and unexpected. While this didn't work for me and will need to be returned I would absolutely try Natasha Denona eyeshadow again, especially the little mini palettes because they are great value.

Like many of you, I thought this was a very cool toned palette at first glance. Then the reviews started coming in and people were noting how it was a lot warmer than it looked, but not as warm as the Nude mini palette. This really intrigued me so I ordered it. Even when I first opened it, it looked on the cooler side. Once I tested it, I realized the truth about this palette. It is an olive/khaki/camo kind of shades palette. The center color that looks so gray in the pics (Anjo) is really a very pretty bronzed olive (less green than MAC Sumptuous Olive) but similar tones of colors (antiqued brass, olive, etc). The taupe looking wash color (Harlow) came off very khaki on my nw20 skin, deep winter, 3n hair, brown/hazel eyes. BTW, I think this palette would look stunning on green and hazel eyes. The first bronzey looking shade (Golden Flesh)...looked like a typical bronze shade. But instead of skewing red, yellow or brow, this one skews a touch orange bronze. Seed (the dark brown matte shade) and Faye (the shimmery champagne shade) are fairly neutral and what they seem. If you have issues with olive based tones, stay away. But I really, really like the color story. I will say, Anjo, the gray looking shimmer in the center that is really a bronzed olive, is one of my favorite olive eye shadows with it's balance of olive and gold. My only disappointment is that I wish one of these palettes would be truly neutral with out skewing warmer, olive or uber cool. I was hoping this would be that truly neutral mix by the early reviews, but it is not. It definitely skews earthy, olive, khaki. UPDATE: Loving this more with each use.

I would happily have given this little 5 pan palette a 5-lippie rating - it deserves it - except for the fact that this is NOT the cool toned palette Natasha Denona's promotional photos led me and many others to believe it was. The first pictures I saw of this were of a really cool toned palette - sort of green-tinged grey shades. Then Temptalia's photos appeared at her site and they were VERY different from those from the company. Fortunately, I was able to see this for myself in-store and the product is not at all like the company's photos (and those on Sephora's website) made it seem. Nevertheless, upon seeing this for myself, I really liked it. It may not be as cool toned as the company's pics made it look, but it's not warm either. It's a very nicely balanced neutral palette and very practical and usable if you are a neutrals lover like me and someone who avoids very orange, pink or red toned eyeshadows. This is only my 2nd ND purchase (first was the Mini Gold palette, which I like very much). There are 5 shades in this palette and I think some may be repeats from her larger palettes but I don't know for sure. Texture and pigmentation on all of these are both excellent, as is wear time, though I always use eyeshadow primer. The colours are: Golden Flesh: a shimmery dark beige/light brown shade; very shimmery and brightening Harlow: a creamy matte skin toned/light brown shade along the lines of MAC Cork or Soba - a great shade for blending out darker crease shades or as an all over the mobile lid colour when I don't want to look like I'm wearing shadow but want to even out the colour of my lids Anjo: possibly my favourite colour; a shimmery dark taupe - just a beautiful shade Seed: a neutral darkish brown that isn't too dark or too pigmented so it's a pleasure to use since it doesn't end up looking harsh Faye: a shimmery, balanced peach shade (not too pink; not too orange) - for me, it's like MAC All That Glitters or Naked Lunch in that it's very wearable and flattering and really brightens and opens up my eyes Like the Mini Gold palette, this is an affordable way to enjoy the best of what ND has to offer without dropping over $100 for a larger palette. The beauty of this little treasure is that, for me, all the shades are flattering and very wearable. The only "con" was how misleading the ND's own publicity photos were. Update: I posted my original review on Jan. 2/20; it's now January 29 so almost a month later. I've been using Mini Glam almost every day since purchasing it and am really enjoying it. It makes it very easy to get the sort of work appropriate eye look I like and to do so quickly each morning. Harlow in my crease helps define my eyes and "correct" the hooded crease I'm developing as I age. Golden Flesh on my mobile lid makes me look bright and awake even when I'm not feeling that way and either Seed or Anjo on the outer lid gives a bit more definition and intensity. This has turned out to be a really good purchase.
