I was wanting to wait until more reviews were posted before I ordered this product, but apparently my self control decided to fail me. I've only used this a couple times, so I will need to post an update on here, but so far I am loving this new moisturizer from Paula's Choice. Lately I've been hesitant to purchase any of the company's new products as they seem to be straying far from Paula's original skin care philosophies and prices. It is disappointing to see the company becoming more and more blindly profit driven. That being said, I do still think the line has some of the best fragrance free products that are still less expensive than many you would find at Sephora. So, this "electrolyte" moisturizer.... not sure what evidence can back up this whole electrolyte in skincare science, but that's not why I purchased the product. I was looking for a moisturizing but lightweight product that doesn't break me out or sting. I have extremely sensitive acne-prone skin that every Cerave product stings. Vanicream has been the only line that doesn't sting but I find it underwhelming in terms of hydration and performance. So far this moisturizer has not stung at all!! The texture is a light air-whipped feel that absorbs very quickly into the skin but still leaves behind a hydrated feel. Seems to wear well under makeup and sunscreen with no obvious pilling. I personally appreciate the fact that it doesn't contain niacinamide as that increases a product's stinging potential for me. The price is steep for this though- $35!! I would never purchase this without a special online going on. It's too soon to tell if there are any breakouts from this moisturizer so I will have to add an update in a couple weeks. But so far I'm hopeful!

I've been using this like Clinique's gel cream because that's what it feels like on my combo skin. I then top it at the end with the omega moisturizer to seal everything in. But those 2 moisturizers combined with my rosacea serums have saved my skin from the retin-a flakies. Love the tube, hate the price. PC prices are really bordering on luxury prices so a person HAS to wait for a sale. I've only used this for 2 weeks so will report back if this starts to disagree with my skin that is ultra sensitive, combo and rosacea ridden.
