I had very high hopes for this since I love cream or even liquid bronzers over powder ones to be able to make things as smooth and comfortable for me who are in my middle age with drier skin that is not as smooth as it once was... Cream formulas tend to sit better on the skin and holds better when windy weather or pretty much any weather will make my eyes water and then you easily get very unflattering stripes from watering eyes running through your powder bronzer and blush... Hence I love cream bronzers! My favourite among the creamy ones and the golden standard for me is the Soleil de Tan from Chanel. It is pricy and does not come in more than one shade which is excluding and I do wish they will come up with more shades. But it has worked for me or at least almost so if you can make the shade they have work for you it is probably the absolute best one out there still. And it has been around for at least 20 years... As I said my hopes were high when I could finally get my hands on the Milk stick. It comes in two colours I have the one in Baked, which is the lighter of the two and should work with anyone from fair to a light medium/medium skin tone. My guess is the darker version can handle at least a bit darker skin tones. I love the stick thing and that it is a wide stick and not a slim one. That makes it easier to choose whichever tool you a most comfortable with and it is still also easy to pack for trips and is not as bulky as the Chanel. Brushes fit nicely with the wide stick making it easy to apply an even amount to your bristles. I prefer using it with a buffing brush. Sponges work well to with this and I even think you could apply this with your fingers if preferred. Versatile in that way. You get a ton of product which is similar to the Chanel where you also get a lot of product. The colour Baked is nice it is a warm toned bronze with no shimmer that doesn’t pull either too red, too orange or too yellow but at the same time is not cool or neutral leaning. It is meant to cater for a wide array of people. So far so good. Now for the not so perfect part of this product. The formula is very soft and slippery and gets more so when becoming warmed up by your body heat from your skin making this look almost glossy on the skin, which is a different thing from looking glowy... It will therefore also highlight texture on the skin making it look uneven even when it is not, (this product does blend well and does apply very evenly and nice however quite thinly even if you try to slather it on blending will thin it out). But my biggest problem with this formula is that it will never set! You therefore definitely need to set this with powder for it not to slide all over the place and it will still transfer and slide if you happen to touch or brush up against something during the day. Since the formula also is not very opaque when blended out you will need a bit of product if you want a little more oumph and still a smooth application that blends to an even result. Bottom line is the more you use the oilier it feels and if you use too thin a layer it will just blend away completely... But upon application this can look oh so good! But it will sadly not last... The lasting ability is because of the slippy texture not very good and you will need to set it with powder and still will need to touch up during the day which is not very practical to do with a cream formula during a busy work day. And if I have a problem with the staying power who have dry and mature skin, I wonder what this will do for someone with more oil in their skin... I even think it sort of breaks up your foundation and other products underneith so if you don’t keep a tight ship with your touch ups you may find your make up turned in to a bit of a mess... Now I have heard from others that these stick formulas from Milk do have a tendency to dry up and shrink up in the canister over time... And with this product perhaps that could actually help if it at least dried up a little, unless it shrivels up completely like a dried out Colourpop super shock product... Since it could very well be a tad bit drier in the formula in order to become perfect. But compared to the texture and holding power of the Chanel that lasts all day on the skin, does not even need to be set with powder and never changes its texture and formula over time either but lets you use it up to the very pan this does not come close! But I soooo wish they would try to tweak the formula just a little since if the formula gets sorted out then this has the potential for being a holy grail product that like the Chanel Soleil de tan also can stand the test of time!

This is such a lovely product from this innovative brand! All my favourite YTbers were using it and I was toying between this one and Chanel's one but as the winter is coming to UK and I will not be able to use much bronzing products for the next 6 months without looking out of place (I don't fake tan, too much faff!) I treated myself to a mini version of this one when in Chicago. A mini version is actually quite generous and perfect for travel. Despite being tiny, this bronzer packs a punch! It is wonderfully pigmented and the colour is just right to add a bit of warmth to the face (I do not contour either but it is quite neutral bronze so I suppose it could). Yet it spreads nicely and does not destroy makeup already placed underneath. It is pretty undetectable on the face as makeup and that is the look I'm going for these days. It has some very faint fragrance of shea butter (I'm not sure here, as I threw away the sticky label), spreads like a dream but I think it needs some touch up midday and therefore only 4 stars as it does not last.

This contour thins out my face and gives me a healthy look! I've been using this product for just under a year and I consider it to now be a staple in my make up routine. The older I get the more I like creme products. This bronzer works as an excellent contour. It has just the right tone to the color - not too warm or cool and blends easily into my skin after applying foundation. It looks natural on my face - I apply it with a complexion brush - it does not emphasize texture. A bit expensive but well worth it.

I like this bronzer. It is matte which is my number one bronzer requirement. It blends easily with a bronzer brush. It is too warm on me to use as contour so I use it strictly as a bronzer to add a bit more color to my cheeks, nose, forehead and even neck. It gives a very natural look and is very pigmented.
