I really like this. It is a bit masculine, but strangely I am drawn to more masculine woody scents recently. When first sprayed on it is quite fresh and citrusy, but when it settles it is really lovely. To me it smells like a baby shamppo my mom used on me when I was a child. Maybe that is why I am drawn to it and like it so much? It really smells fresh and clean, but at the same time woody and …Read more

Notes: amber, patchouli, cotton candy, juniper, galbanum, clary sage, lemon verbena, sage, vetiver and spices.

This fragrance opens with a short-lived blast of tart citrus, but settles on my skin as a composition of clary sage, vetiver and patchouli enriched by dashes of lemon verbena and juniper. What I see is a mainly woodsy herbal accord that finds its balance roughly half an hour …

Very leafy, wet forest - a helicopter may have spillt tons of men's cologne over it. It has an attractive sage note but I like my sage a bit lighter and more transparent than this. Good quality fragrance that is nevertheless not so memorable to my nose. Good sillage and lasting power.

I like this scent but the clary sage just dominated too much for me to want to wear it frequently. It's a very wet wood fragrance. It reminds me of running though the pacific northwest woods in the late fall with wet leaves, evergreens, and a slightly animalic touch. I would say this is more of a mens fragrance though women can wear it. This for me is a fall, winter, spring scent which I …Read more

My favourite wood scent.
I just love verbena and it is present throughout the perfume giving it a citrusy kick.
Great lasting power as well, I only have to reapply once a day.

Terre de Bois, another unisex fragrance from Miller Harris that captures the essence of precious soft woods and turns delicious on my skin. The first smell can be deceiving, carrying a strong whiff of verbena that seems slightly out-of-context, but the drydown gets really magnificent, reminding me of gorgeous, deep ancient woods in England. Here's a list of the notes taken from Miller Harris …Read more

Perhaps a bit greener and more dry than the usual women's fragrances, but still fresh enough to qualify as a unisex scent. It is more fresh than cologne-like and does not scream "men's cologne" such as Brut or even Drakkar Noir.

It's lack of sweetness and woodsy green nature is the main reason I enjoy this scent. Nothing strikes me as artificial or overdone. …

This is one of the best Miller Harris.I've been always on the verge to buy this but i've reordered the sample a couple of times.Again the problem here is the lack of sillage. In my opinion this is definitively unisex. It's green herbal with a clean quality but not soapy(thanks god),unusualy balsamic and in the drydown powerfully earthy and rooty from the vetiver, the only note that i …Read more

Most of the Miller Harris perfumes I can take or leave, they are well recognised types which you can buy elsewhere at a quarter the price. Terre de bois is an exception. This is mainly because it reminds me of a sample I was sent years ago by one of the famous Grasse houses, which thrilled me to bits as a schoolkid. I was intrigued by the herbal, celery-like aspect. As I recall it was offered as …Read more

This is a shared fragrance that in my opinion does lean much more toward being masculine(male here). I think if more men were here reviewing the rating for this fragrance would be higher. I find the EDP to be a long lasting, versatile, elegant fragrance. A nice citrus/herbal blend with some depth to it. Guys, give this one a try.
