I agree with everything the previous reviewer said -- excellent description of the color! Looks forest green in the pan, but once applied has a brown base with green shimmer wherever the light hits it. Formula is soft and smooth, easy to blend. Highly recommended -- especially for brown or green eyes!!

Sideline is a fine green shimmer... maybe with some very fine gold pearl mixed in, with a brown base - everything in direct light is green, while everything in the shade looks brown. This is the reason this color looks forest green in the pan, but not on the skin. It's not a duochrome finish per se, but the brown base makes this color easy to wear alone without getting a flat look. In the picture above, I haven't define my outer third of the eye with any other shadow - it's the base of Sideline that makes up the brown color. The pearl in this shears this out slightly; I can't apply this to an opaque finish with a dry brush - maybe applying wet or with a finger would work for a fuller application. I still like it - it's a nice, easy-to-wear green. Very easy to use shade, blends well, wears all day without a primer, has almost no fallout.

EDIT: from pictures, this shade looked like it was similar to Tea Garden from Colourpop, but when I did a side-by side comparison, they are actually VERY different: Sideline is more forest-green (cool green), while Tea Garden is more grass-green (lighter and more yellow-toned green) and golden. There's much more gold in Tea Garden than in Sideline - when they are side-by-side, it looks like Sideline has NO gold compared to Tea Garden. The shimmer in both of the shades are actually quite similar in size, but Sideline has slightly finer shimmer, which means that there's slightly more fallout with Tea Garden. Will post some pictures later.

You can buy these as only a pan or with a little box. The box is cute, with a max size mirror. The box is useful for those wanting to only bring a couple eyeshadows around, but I wish Colourpop would make some empty 4-6 shadow palettes, as that would be much more useful to me personally
