This is the newly reformulated version being launched in May/June 2018.The sunscreen is based on Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, an aliphatic oil. The two versions produced for the EU and US markets are both relatively fluid, easily applied, elegant sunscreens which contain the UV-filters Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate), Zinc Oxide and Titanium dioxide. However the EU version contains high amount of UV-filter stabilizer (Ethylhexyl Methoxycrylene to stabilize mainly Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate). This results an increase of the SPF too. However, the elegance of the product might be compromised due to the excessive oiliness Ethylhexyl Methoxycrylene and the additional base oil of Hydrogenated Polyisobutene give. Please, be aware of that the US versions SPF 30 and the US version SPF 50 versions are the exact same products containing the exact same concentrations of the three UV-filters and ingredients.I believe that the first version of this everyday sunscreen (launched in 2008) was lighter and remarkably more elegant than today’s edition. This is due to the base oil that was Cyclopentasiloxane and the UV-filters Zinc Oxide (17.1%) and Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate (Octinoxate) (7.5%) –later 2.2% Titanium dioxide was added to the mixture too. (There was only one version for the whole globe and it was marketed as SPF 50 PA+++.)I find the sunscreen too heavy (application is also difficult) and not allowing the skin to breath. Although the SPF 30 feels a tad lighter than the SPF 50, both products are for drier skin-types.The SPF 50 leaves a very visible white cast on the skin at and after application. This is also impossible to disguise with make-up due to the compactness of the white colour.Ingredients US:SPF 50Octinoxate 7.5%Titanium dioxide 5.4%Zinc Oxide 17.1%Water, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Alcohol, Caprylyl Methicone, Glycerin, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Lauryl PEG-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Gardenia Tahitensis Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Diethylhexyl Syringylidenemalonate, Dipropylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Aluminum Hydroxide, Butylene Glycol, Fragrance, Caprylyl Glycol, Ectoin, Phenoxyethanol, Alumina, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Silica, BHT, 3-Aminopropane Sulfonic Acid, Calcium Hydroxymethionine, Polysorbate 20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, TocopherolIngredients EU:Aqua (Water), Zinc Oxide (Nano), Alcohol, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Caprylyl Methicone, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycrylene, Titanium Dioxide (Nano), Glycerin, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Lauryl Peg-9 Polydimethylsiloxyethyl Dimethicone, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Gardenia Tahitensis Flower Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Dipropylene Glycol, Stearic Acid, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aluminum Hydroxide, Parfum (Fragrance), Butylene Glycol, Caprylyl Glycol, Dimethicone, Ectoin, Phenoxyethanol, Alumina, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Propylene Carbonate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Pentylene Glycol, Silica, Bht, 3-Aminopropane Sulfonic Acid, Calcium Hydroxymethionine, Polysorbate 20, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Tocopherol, Il22a
