Pretty Serious is a cruelty free and vegan indie Australian brand that ships world-wide, and is very reasonably priced. I've only been buying from Pretty Serious for a little over two years, but they have already become my favourite brand. I have around 80 polishes by them now, and I can honestly say that only one I've worn so far has had a subpar formula. Undercover Mermaid is part of the Seriously Classic collection (their core range), and it ii a lilac-tinged taupe jelly, and the formula is full of iridescent green flakies & glass flecks.

I'm not usually a big fan of polishes that need more then two coats, but the super-shiny squishyness of the dove-like shade and the delicate sparkle combine for a subtle take on glitter. The formula for Undercover Mermaid is thinner then usual by Pretty Serious' standards; the shade applies a bit unevenly [but not streaky] on the first coat, so it's sometimes a two-coater, but it usually takes three coats for a smooth, even, opaque wash of colour. However the polish is fast-drying, so going up to three coats isn't a big deal for me. Add to that the fact that this polish has a hard-wearing formula, and we have another winner from Pretty Serious.
