This is an untapped gem that has been flying under the radar for years. It's a way to add additional coverage over an existing foundation, blot shine, set, and soften the look of pores. It does not travel around into lines or pores. It wears for a long time, and beautifully. The look is natural, and modern, but not completely matte. It leaves the skin looking alive, and allows light to move across the skin, instead of being absorbed like a matte finish product will do. Because of this, it is much less aging in effect. I can't speak to how this would work on oily skin. I can say on normal to combination it is hands down the best pressed powder and for what I am looking for in terms of covering up a tad bit of redness my foundation couldn't handle. It does not make my skin feel tight, and it doesn't feel like I'm wearing a sweater on my face. It goes on and you forget it's there. When I get a pimple I can just stipple this over the top and 9 times out of ten it's all I need to make the redness and discoloration go away. It does not look cakey on the skin. It does not look thick or dated. I've seen several companies come close, (Charlotte Tilbury, Kevyn Aucoin) but not quite there with their product moving around on the face. That is one thing I love about this powder; it stays put. So if I touch my face I don't come back with product on my fingers/hands and it doesn't leave a mark on my face when I touch it. When it sets it is SET. It becomes a second skin. Here are the downsides: Cargo is not all over the place any more unless you count finding Kohl's convenient, which I do not. Also, the compact, while not horrible, is not the best either. There is no room for a puff or sponge so if you plan on touch ups throughout the day you'll have to invest in a travel brush or puff. I really wish Cargo would improve this, but I imagine they don't want to touch the pricing, and because of that I say fine. Also, the color selection is not extensive. They've added shades through the years but not nearly enough. This is the star of their line, and they are doing themselves a disservice by not promoting it.
