Other BHA peels I was looking at had inflammatory ingredients or a strong alcohol base while this does not. I couldn’t get information on the exact pH, but rest assured this does exfoliate. As with all products like this, it does have a warm somewhat tingly feeling on skin; naturally, it feels stronger if you’re used to a 2% or 1% Salicylic Acid chemical exfoliant. This really effectively smoothed out my skin overall and brought some skin issues to the surface which makes it easier to treat. The results come a lot faster than lower concentration BHAs though it does come with more skin flakes in the morning(I only use this at night). I highly recommend as this is a really quality product.
