i got the sample size at Sephora as a birthday gift and have fallen in love with it. skincare is so tricky and different from person to person it's crazy. until this year, i've used NuSkin for 25 years and anytime i used anything else, my skin has gone haywire. for context, i'm 56yrs, light olive combo skin and have brutal hyperhidrosis which is abnormally heavy sweating. i've …Read more

DE has reaffirmed my dislike of gel cleansers. This one has caused some level of irritation every time I've used it and dries out my face considerably. I'm willing to spend a bit more on good skin care but this just feels like an overpriced version of cleansers I've gotten for under $10 at the drugstore.

This is a good, barebones cleanser for oily skin. It has no discernible fragrance and doesn't irritate or dry out my skin. It starts out as a pleasant gel-like texture and lightly foams with water. I used it as a second cleanser so I don't know how well it would remove makeup on its own. The container it comes in is pretty nice, but I don't love the fact that there's no …Read more

I'm slowly making my way through my first tube of this cleanser and haven't experienced any adverse effects. Sometimes I use this after removing my makeup in the shower with DHC cleansing oil and my skin feels clean but not stripped. Be careful not to get any in your eyes though, because it stings like crazy! I would repurchase and am glad they changed the cap dispenser because the …Read more

Got this cleanser as a part of "The Littles" Set (3oz in size). I used it in the morning and in the evening for about 4 days and it completely messed up my skin to the point where I had to stop using it; my skin was extremely flaky in particular around the cheek area-It's been a week and my skin is not yet back to normal. The directions on the DE's website recommend only using …Read more

I received this along with another DE product as a Sephora birthday gift. Right away I noticed the foul smell...like sour milk smell. I didn't let it stop me from using as I wanted to post a review of this. I thought that after rinsing off that the scent would go away....it didnt. Every single time that I used my skin lingered with this sour milk smell for a few minutes. Removing eye makeup …Read more

My review is based on he 30ml that came with The Littles set, which lasted me around 5-6 weeks. I like the cheerful, travel friendly packaging with it's twist cap. Colorless, fragrance-less and non drying, it helped to remove light make-up. Other than that it was just...OK. I like DE in general but this is maybe what I'd consider one of their not so essential product, when there are …Read more

Beste Jelly Cleanser is a mediocre product. It's very basic, slightly drying, and overpriced for what you get. If price is no consideration, you might enjoy this if you have oily skin. I received a deluxe sample of this. I would not purchase this product.

I got the travel size that was included in the January birthday gift. I used it for a week and have not experienced such dry skin in my life. I like other Drunk Elephant products, but my combo skin could not handle this. Maybe it would work well for oily skin? DEFINITELY keep away from the eyes. It didn't sting but was too harsh for my eye area. Left my skin cracked after daily use and would …Read more

I’m really surprised by all of the horrible reviews that DE is getting on MUA. I gave sensitive skin when it comes to essential oils and botanicals and all the other additives other brands put in their products. This is a basic cleanser. It is for me, a step 2 in double cleanse or a one step if I’m not wearing makeup. It’s not a wow wow amazing product. It’s probably a bit overpriced. I can see …Read more
