Who could resist this bottle? This has got to be the most adorable cleanser bottle I've ever seen! I simply couldn't resist it. I had a feeling I would have reservations about regularly using some of the ingredients, but it's so much fun to try new things. Plus, my 9 year old daughter was with me. She got cupcake lip balms, so I got a cleanser with a cartoon egg on it. Who doesn't want their face wash to have a severly depressed, sunny-side up egg on it? I have been a user of DHC Cleansing oil for many years now, and I have yet to find a cleansing oil that holds a candle to it. So, of course, I did not expect my little egg bottle to contain something life-changing. My daughter read the name and fear came across her face, "All kill?!" she exclaimed, "What is that stuff?" I explained to her that I assumed it contained antibacterial ingredients. This doesn't foam the way Sodium Laureth Sulfate preparations foam. The surfactants are Disodium laureth sulfosuccinate, Decyl Glucoside, Cocamide DEA, and Disodium cocoamphodiacetate. Rather than "lather" this oil "foams" more like a mousse, only in small doses. Saponaria Officinalis is an antimicrobial, Citric Acid is an antibacterial, and a preservative, and this contains olive oil...so all-in-all it's a foaming cleanser containing oil, sea weed, purslane, Soapwort, green algae, plus other ingrdients that function in as antimicrobials or antiinflammatories. This does not remove my mascara completely, but it seems to thoroughly remove sunscreen and makeup from my face. I need quite a few pumps to feel like I have enough to cover my face and neck and get a foam going. If I want to use it to remove all eye makeup I do a separate wash concentrating on using this as an "oil" before adding water (which makes it foam). This is a reliable cleanser that's easy to use, and the bottle is irresistible. I have very resistant, oily skin, so I have no idea if this is good for all skin types. It has noticeable fragrance. The fragrance ingredients, unfortunately, are not listed anywhere that I can find them.
