looks awful on cool pale skin. besame needs to learn what "pastel" means, this is a dark brown muddy bold lip

This is a beautiful color, I was afraid it would wash me out, but I think it would look beautiful on anyone. Unique with the same wonderful Besame formula. In doubt? Get it!

I have had such mixed luck with Besame lipsticks, but I really appreciate that it's woman-owned and so inclusive, so I keep going back (Red Velvet, Wild Orchid and Dusty Mauve were massive misses).

Lovely color just released by Besame to replicate those worn in the 1960's. The formula is creamy but not overly slippery to where it bleeds. Staying power was decent and I ate with it on with minimal transfer and no spreading of the color. On me it comes out a true neutral peach - not overly pink or orange. Besame Cosmetics lured me to their retro line with 1965 Portrait Peach, which was inspired by Audrey Hepburn. She frequently wore a pastel lip with dramatic eye makeup.
