Not a bad shampoo and the matching conditioner is pretty decent.
What is bad is the scent, IMO at least.
It reminds me of that strong perfume scent you get when walking into a department store and someone sprayed too much of something or another and it is mixing with all the different scents that are in the air and it just smells too strong and over powering.
I also get a strong scent of grapefruit mixed in there too.

As for cleaning it does well, nothing too special and if you don't mind the scent then this would be a decent everyday basic shampoo. The conditioner did not do too much but what was nice is that it did help keep my daughter's hair pretty tangle free. Even when it did get tangled it was easier to come out. Usually, with her very long hair, she has tons of tangles but this conditioner kept her fairly tangle free.

As far as Suave shampoos go, this one is on the average to good end. It cleanses well and doesn't give my hair any problems, but the scent is HORRIBLE. It smells strongly of hairspray and it lingers. I couldn't buy this again for that reason but I can't knock the performance of this product. If you're able to get past the awful scent, give it a try.
