Basic simple coconut scent – I can’t ever smell all the notes in fragrances that others can. I sprayed a lot of this and all I end up with is a very simple toasted coconut smell. I’m quite jealous where others say they can smell salt, sand, pineapple, etc. - I get none of those notes at all? I don’t normally wear BBW products but wanted to try and when I smelled this it takes me back to the 90’s and it smells like their Creamy Coconut scent. It’s incredibly linear on me and I wonder ... Am I the only person who can't smell all the extra notes in this?

This is a very unique fragrance, it is beachy indeed, but not fruity or floral. It is the perfect mixture of scents of sea breeze, sand, suntan lotion with a little bit of coconut. Fresh, and it smells clean and crispy, but without involving any citrus. I love the beach, I live by it, so it is the perfect everyday scent for me. Decent longevity, for a body spray at least. I'm happy I stopped by bbw and tried this one...In the last couple of years I had lost all hopes in bbw with their 'smells all the same' new releases and the reformulation of their classics. Try it, it is the scent of summer, summer in a bottle indeed!

I'm writing about the body cream, it's Definitely not what I expected. It's kind of watery compared to other body cream and the smell disappears so fast.. guess I got a bad one

I am such a beach bum that the minute I smelled this I had to have it. I started with the shower gel but wanted something that would leave a stronger and longer lasting scent, so I picked up the perfume, not the body spray. This definitely smells like a day at the beach and I love it! I got the perfume because I wanted this particular scent to last, which means minimal alcohol, thus the perfume > body spray. The scent itself has coconut notes to it but it's not overwhelming. It's very soft. I wish they made the perfume in a larger size because I would be on that in a heartbeat! I plan to purchase the full size body wash and the body butter so I can layer this amazing fragrance.

Bought this over the summer, just couldn't leave the store w/out it! It is reminiscent of the Caribbean beaches. It is a very intense++ body spray. Can be overwhelming so I use it sparingly. For the summer my HG scent is D&G's Light Blue cuz it fresh and subtle. At the Beach is nowhere near subtle. Strong++ coconut/vanilla scent w/ fresh citrus undertones. FYI if u spray ur body in the bathroom/ bedroom, when you re-enter later in the day the room still lingers with the delectable scent. Good weekend scent. As the season heads towards the cooler months... I will have to retire this bottle til nxt spring, but if I get an opportunity to go to the islands this winter... this bottle will have to break dormancy! (not recommended for the scentsitive)

I really like this! I'm not an expert in explaining/describing scents, I just know this reminds me of vanilla, cocoa butter sunscreen, coconuts, and the beach in general, hence "at the beach" Lol....I normally gravitate toward scents like Black Opium, Lancome's La Vie Est Belle etc, but love using body sprays in summer. I got the entire line of At The Beach(lotion, spray, shower gel etc)and will definitely repurchase.

Notes: White Frangipani, Toasted Coconut, Bergamot Waters, Saltwater Breeze. Reviewers on B&BW's website who said this smells like suntan lotion are spot on. I stopped by the store this afternoon to try it. I had it mixed up with Beach Nights which is the one I really wanted to try, but whilst I was there, I tried At The Beach. It indeed smells like suntan lotion with coconut being the most noticeable note. I did not really detect any bergamot, and perhaps only the slightest bit of salt. It is very light--one of the lightest B&BW body sprays I have ever smelt. I tried both the body spray and the body cream. The body spray disappeared from my skin within about thirty minutes of application. The body creme lasted a while longer. The body spray had little projection and little sillage. If you want to smell like a lightweight suntan lotion, then this might be the fragrance for you if you do not mind frequent reapplication as performance is very poor indeed. The Tutti Dulci body sprays are not the best performers, but even they out perform At The Beach. I have to wonder where one would wear At The Beach aside from perhaps a pool party or barbeque, or perhaps if one wished to meditate on being at the beach. If one is actually at the beach, then one would wear actual suntan lotion I am sure. I do not suppose it is easy to come up with Summer fragrance ideas, though. If you have tried this fragrance and really like it, I suggest you wait until the Summer clearance sale. You may be able to pick it up for $5 or less. Today at the store, the body spray, shower gel, body lotion, and body creme were all priced at $7 each, the same as on the website. For my money, this is not worth $7. I am not even sure I would want it for $1. Definitely test it in store before you order it on-line. Fragrance: 1/10 Projection: 1/10 Sillage: 1/10 Longeveity: 0/10

I bought this a few days ago in the perfume spray version. I really like it. I love coconut in anything and most of my scents are coconut based, its one of the few scents my asthma/ severe allergies can tolerate. This reminds me of old school coppertone crossed with BBWs Oahu Coconut Sunset. Its a warm scent to me. It also reminds me of Avon/mark Instant Vacation (the original one)

Bought this on a whim and I am really happy about it! Typically I tend to buy more foodie, gourmand vanilla scents, usually staying away from coconut - but this is lovely. I get the coconut water, frangipani, and white musk with touches of sand and sweet amber. Very breezy, long lasting, and definitely makes me want to get back to the ocean! The only con about this mist is the bottle. I don't feel comfortable putting it in my bag because I'm afraid it may leak/spill if the flimsy lid comes off. May buy more when my bottle runs out :)
