This lipstick is in Essence's Matt Matt Matt lipstick line. The exterior packaging isn't really representative of the shade inside - packaging is quite red, lipstick is a vibrant, red toned, deep pink.

This is a thick, creamy, pigmented, semi-matte formula, reminiscent of Wet n' Wild's MegaLast line in terms of texture, pigment, and wear time. It differs in that it has a fruity flavour, better bullet shape (traditional lipstick) and retracts fully into the packaging (always appreciated). There are also shade differences of course.

This color is a staining, bright, clear, deep, raspberry pink-red. It is VERY similar to Blush Your Lips from the Longlasting line (slightly blue), and also to Air Kiss from NYC (slightly blue), and Velvety Fuchsia from NYC (a bit lighter/pinker). WnW's Cherry Picking is more red and deeper.

Clearly, I have a lot of lipsticks in this shade family. I find this red leaning pink to be very bold but flattering and glamorous on my fair yellow/olive/dark hair complexion. I'm not sure if ever need to repurchase since I have so many similar shades, but this one IS really lovely.
