Tl/dr: This burns on application, if you have rosacea. It's kind of frightening. I have dermatitis-prone, very pale, genetically-redheaded, oily, thick skin with a tendency towards irritation and pretty well-controlled rosacea. I had tried The Ordinary, about a year ago, in volume and came down with a nasty case of dermatitis. However, I decided to try the most neutral of TO's products again, because I'm not entirely certain that the cause of the dermatitis wasn't just going whole hog on too many products. I put this on, and my face felt really uncomfortable, within about five minutes. I used an oil based Avene cleanser and La Roche Posay micellar water, and my face was still burning until I also washed this off entirely with yet another La Roche Posay cream cleanser, a few hours later. For reference, a lot of La Roche Posay, L'Oreal, Avene, Boots No. 7, Dove, and and Inkey List suits my skin just fine.
