Power Fabric Foundation

This is a decent foundation on my relatively dry skin, applies easily and lasts all day. My primary reason for five-starring it is that it's the first foundation I've had in many years that matches my Mediterranean-hued complexion (shade 9). I also like the fact that it's got an SPF rating of 25. It's not cruelty-free, and normally I will only buy/use cruelty-free products, so I'm torn about continued use, but for now it's my favorite.

I am using this foundation for few months already. I have oily skin in the T zone and the Power Fabric is just keeping under control this area all day. Perfect coverage as I have some dark spots and no need to remake my make up all day also. I think Giorgio Armani foundations are amazing! One word for this foundation: PERFECT!

Hmmm.....where do I start? Well, the initial application wasn't good. It seemed to dry quickly and I really had to use more product than I usually like, in order to cover my entire face. The coverage wasn't what I expected from a high end product, as it didn't cover my redness. It settled into my pores and was a bit cakey around my nose. As the day wore on, I got very oily in my T zone and it was fading off my chin and nose. For the price, I expect miracles from a foundation or at least to last a few hours. This product was a let down.

Hands down one of the worst foundations I ever used. The texture does not apply well, no matter what base you use and it looks worse every passing hour. I've tried mixing it with other foundations in the hope of finishing it sooner, but it just ruins every texture.

This is really one of the worst matte foundations I’ve ever used!! It has absolutely nothing going for it. First, the color choices are just awful. My shade was 4.5, a grey tinged yellow. Made me look sick. Also, didn’t wear well. My nose was bare and the rest of my face was an oil slick 2 hours after applying over a good primer. This one is a huge miss!

I have been buying this for a few months now. I used shade 5 which is perfect. The coverage is amazing to begin with and covers my blemishes really well. I do feel this applies better with a damp sponge. This product lasts about a month for me which isn’t the longest time I’ve had a foundation and I don’t wear a lot of it and apply once a day most days. The price tag is a little much to spend every month. It also has a small pump which makes application so much easier. There have been a few problems I can say is if you have dry patches of skin, this foundation makes it look severely dry. I only have to wait until midday and parts of the foundation smudges off which is disappointing. I will probably consider looking at other foundations because I do believe for the price you can get a product just as good if not better.

The first time I used this foundation was a disaster. After a couple of hours it was pooling and slipping off my skin. This is a problem I rarely have even with drug store products. As another reviewer has noted this product does not work well with a silicone primer. I agree. This is particularly frustrating because this is a premium product and you would expect the staff to advise you how to use it correctly? After all customer service is what premium make up is all about. Next time I used it, itperformed much better. This is definitely a high coverage foundation and I am amazed that some reviews dispute this. Applied on well moisturised skin the results are good -matte but not flat. it lasts well with minimal oxidation. But is it worth the price? I don't think so. There are other cheaper products which give similar results.

I am a dark skinned black girl so finding a foundation match is not the easiest of feats. I have tried numerous foundations (I am an obsessive makeup junkie - it is actually a sickness) and this is the BEST colour match I have ever found for my skin. This foundation goes on my skin like silk, it covers everything but looks so natural and like second skin but better. The coverage is fantastic and it wears beautifully. I have oily skin but do not struggle with oil breakthrough for several hours when wearing this foundation (and paired with a primer). It lasts all day long. I will genuinely shed tears if Giorgio Armani were to ever discontinue this foundation so please, never cross this one off the list.

I bought this foundation last week and love it! It's full coverage, yet extremely lightweight. It feels like nothing on the skin. The foundation is long wearing and doesn't separate or get patchy throughout the day. I got this in the color 3.5 and it’s perfect for when I don't have a tan. Love it!
